YES! Brisket mouth watering tender and not 2/3 fat! Great Smoked Turkey, Chicken and pulled pork. Ordered 2 - three meat plates, takeout, NICE portions, fries, baked beans, and potato salad, all tasty. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh. Bought at 2:20 PM today and not "reheated" lunch specials. Just discovered after being in Goose Creek for 4 months and they are our GO TO for BBQ in the area. They also offer Military Discount. The Sweet & Tangy sauce is my favorite of the sauces but all are good. Meat is tender without being dry. Okra could use a little more salt or seasoning in the batter but great texture. Love all the signs on the walls and it feels like an old, small town BBQ joint. Tables are cleaned frequently and they even put a sign on it when it's been cleaned.
Thank u so much for donating meals to the Berkeley Animal Shelter staff during our recent parvo outbreak. The food was amazing and helped keep our spirits up during the long shifts. U are a true community oriented resteraunt
