UPDATED 01-01-24: EVERY YEAR, WE TEMPORARILY CLOSE FOR OFF SEASON REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE, ETC, and hopefully plan to reopen in March.OLDER POST: Preston's reopened May 26th, '23 after fire damage. Open at 3pm daily Jun-Aug.
Christmas 2023 dinner here, and the food was just OK. A hit or miss with some items. Maybe a little bland in some cases but not nasty. The BBQ ribs were great. The fried shrimp were delicious, but the scallops and oysters seemed like frozen pre-breaded stuff. The atmosphere was awesome, a lot of interesting things on the walls. The seating was great. When it comes to seafood buffets here in Myrtle Beach there are lots of options. I chose this restaurant because of its dining and menu options alone. You can get the full buffet, you can get a buffet without crab legs, you can have just a soup salad and dessert buffet, or they have a menu that you can order off of.
