“Food portions are plentiful, taste was worth going back for. This is mostly a to go type of place as i haven't never seen anyone eating in the dining area. Yes, you have to go into the gas station building but is off to a side room not actually inside the store.“

“Fantastic tacos and they have delicious homemade hot sauce. I had al pastor and carne asada, Tim had Al Pastor and shrimp tacos. The tacos were delicious, huge, and came with grilled onions and raw sliced radishes. Service was spot on, our bartender did a really great job. The other patrons were friendly. We are glad we stopped by and would totally come back if we return to the area. We've been roadtripping and it's so lovely to meander upon nice tasty family restaurants that care about their business and patrons. We each had a top shelf margarita, I'm really sensitive to sugar, seemed like there was a marg mix in them. The top shelf is affordable and he asked if we wanted a grand Marnier float, which of course we did.“

“I've been here multiple times now. I highly recommend it! The food is amazing and the service is great. It may be a small place in the middle of nowhere, but it is the best Mexican food I've found since moving to Bluffton. And the margaritas are on point!“

“Small restaurant but very comfortable. My husband eats Mexican food since I love it. I had the shrimp burrito and the sauces came on the side. He ordered the pork chop with rice, salad, beans and served over plantains. We also had guacamole. All was wonderful...and affordable. Will go back for sure!“

“Delicious food and drinks! Great atmosphere and excellent service!Skinny margaritas are a real deal! Loaded nachos with house made chips were gobbled down in a few minutes! We got a variety of tacos and a chorizo burger. Everything was delicious! We were seated right away, apps and drinks came very fast, food followed pretty much right away. Lots of seating, super cute place! Definitely recommend it!“

“Very cool little permanent food truck next to a great hispanic market. I had three different tacos, my wife had a quesadilla, all were great. Lots of different hot sauces to choose from, and be careful, some are HOT! Just realize, they only give you the tortillas and meat at the indow on the left, you have to go to the window on the right to put all your toppings and sauces on. The market itself has a ton of stuff you won't find in a regular grocery store.“

“I've been here three times now and one experience has been better than the last...unbelievably good food, excellent service and very tasty Margaritas! My only reservation about recommending this place is that I don't want it to get too popular so that I can't get in“

“Drop what you're doing and go to this place. The food is AMAZING!!! BTW- Yelp lists the wrong address. It's at 2961 Okatie Hwy.Don't be put off by the location. It's a hole in the wall. There are maybe a dozen tables filled with Hispanic people with Spanish language TV playing in the background. I had to ask what some of the dishes were. There's a menu in English and a supplemental menu that's all in Spanish.I ordered the Enchiladas Huastecas. La Huasteca is a geographical and cultural region along the Gulf of Mexico. I had to Google that. Back to the food...The enchiladas were divine. The enchilada sauce had layers of rich flavor, finishing with enough heat to leave your lips tingling. The last time I had a Mexican sauce this good was at the Frontiera Grill in Chicago, one of my all time favorite restaurants. My sister ordered crunchy beef tacos. They were packed with flavor and served with a rice so delicious that we brought the leftovers home.If you need beautiful plating and atmosphere, this is not your place. If you'd like delicious, authentic Mexican food, treat yourself and go!One issue. They don't have a liquor license, and the right margarita would have made this out of this world. But they do takeout. I can make my own margaritas at home. We will definitely be back!“

“We visited this restaurant while in Bluffton, South Carolina. Our server was Sara Valen and she could not have been nicer, prompt, and more friendly. My wife and I both had the (GF) steak and chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling and were quite tasty. Really nice atmosphere.“

“These tacos were to drive for! Lots of meat choices to satisfy adventurous or tame eaters. I had a barbacoa taco and my husband had steak. They came with toppings of cilantro and onion, along with slaw and limes and two different sauces. Delicious!“

“Went looking for the restaurant after the pow wow up in hardeeville. Was so glad when we walked in immediately got a table the young woman who took care of us was so attentive and suggested a dish for me that was magnificent.Halfway through the meal three young men came in with instruments and started playing live music. It was a phenomenal addition.I don't know if that happens every Sunday, but I will definitely be going back sometime soon to check.Well worth the drive from Savannah.“

“The food was good. It was hard to eat when a man outside asking for money, food and water. I think food and water is a blessing we should gave with our hearts . We got him something to eat and drink. It made me sad. They should hire him to do something for payment in return. If you can gave, do so. I've given my last $5 and go $300 blessing please ? ? share the love at all times.“

“The quality of the food was excellent! The Special Happy Hour margaritas Excellent! I would rather have Mexican/Latin music than American, but that might just be me.There were 4 of us and for some reason my wife's chivice came out 10 min later? By that time after picking off my plate she wasn't hungry and ended up taking it home. Otherwise everything was really good, freash with great service.“

“Decided to check this place out while traveling through and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely has a local vibe and the food was very good and very generous portion. I had the Arroz Con Pollo Special and it was very good and the rice especially was particularly flavorful.“

“What I enjoyed the most here was the dessert. At our table we had Mexican quesadillas for kids & some just cheese quesadillas with rice and beans. The beans had good flavor but the rice was a little dry due to reheating. My order of sopes came well prepared but the dough lacked salt or something that had no flavor. The same thing happened with the green sauce, it needed salt. Here we can debate this point because they will say that we all have different palates but the truth is that we lacked or loved the dishes The pambazo is small following the same model as the sope but it still lacked seasoning. We also got 2 rajas quesadillas & my mom was delighted with her food. ? The quesadilla tortillas were handmade & the cheese complemented them. The hibiscus & tamarind water were of good taste & well proportioned. For dessert, neither the flan nor the churros (which were over-fried) could be missed. In terms of tastes, palates were broken so don't believe me and come try it and I'm sure you'll find something to your liking! The waitress was busy so the service was so-so but we still gave her the suggested tip.At the time of paying, they don't even greet you, much less expect to be asked how the food was. Forget about asking for your receipt because the disagreement was evident.Oh I'm very demanding or the service is mediocre.Good luck ?“

“Well, first time here. I was looking for tamales to take to work for breakfast but could not find them. This place is actually better some other local Mexican grocery places in Bluffton. I toured around because I was interested in what they had and you will find some imported items that will not not find at Publix and Kroger. New pleasant discovery for me.“

“Stopped in Christmas Eve. Delicious food, friendly waitress. I want to see any one of you open a restaurant- much less one in a foreign country. Relax and enjoy the food. Stop trying to be a food critic. The food was amazing. Are you kidding me !!!!“
