“I met Freddie at the Aiken Farmer's Market this past Saturday. Being completely honest, I wasn't intending to stop by his booth, as I was just finishing up and leaving the market; but he invited my friend and I in to chat coffee, and boy, am I glad he did! Freddie's knowledge and passion for both horses and coffee, as well as his ability to engage and connect, is absolutely delightful. I know next to nothing of horses, but as a fellow small business owner who donates a portion of profits to my preferred cause, I couldn't help but feel a deep appreciation for Freddie's mission. Anyone who has that much heart and compassion is worthy of my attention for at least a few minutes! Now, as far as the coffee itself - Freddie took the time to explain various aspects of roasting, processing, etc., and I walked away with a greater knowledge of beans (of which I always figured I had a decent understanding - but there's always more to learn!). As a decaff drinker, I purchased a bag of "Brazilian Royal Select Decaf – Medium Dark Roast," and made a cup the following morning, with a dash of half-and-half. It is 🤌 *chef's kiss*! Smooth, just the right amount of dark/richness for my taste... I have zero complaints, and all the praise. Since moving to Aiken almost two years ago, I've been searching for a local coffee roaster who just "gets" the importance of keeping the beans as close to natural as possible (no chemicals, no added flavors, etc.), and I think I found my guy. If you see Freddie at any local markets, be sure to stop by for a chat - you will leave satisfied, I can almost guarantee! 😊 Thank you, Freddie, for your welcoming aura, your passion and knowledge, and for creating a quality product in which I'm happy to indulge! 🤤☕️”

“Aunt Sue’s is so amazing! This was our first experience eating here. Initially we stopped by for a coffee but found that they were serving lunch in what felt like I was eating lunch at my granny’s house! The food was delicious (especially the chicken fried chicken)! There are gift shops and an ice cream shop as well! Can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast buffet!!”

“The food was delicious once we got it BUT, there was one Waitress handling bar orders and food! We waited an hour to get a glass of water, another 30 minutes to get our bar order! Food finally came out 35 minutes later and it was very good under the curcumstances. It appeared that all food orders were coming from the restaurant upstairs! The Waitress was very polite and did an AWESOME JOB! This was a Friday night, with an event at the Ampetheater only a half block away! SHAME ON THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT for putting the Waitress in this position. Please don't come back with being short handed, YOU must know that 1 Waitress can't tend bar, get orders, keep the tables serviced and keep the drinks coming! No, this group from Greenville won't be coming back. AGAIN, SHAME ON THE OWNERS for not planning ahead and putting that young lady through a very stressful UNHAPPY HOUR! Donna Reece”

“The wife and I came here for lunch and it was very good and very affordable. I feel like most hot dog shops these days over charge for their food but Heidi's was not only good quality but it was a good price as well. I got a fire dog and sizzle dog and the wife got a sizzle dog and kraut dog. All of them were very delicious. Will be back again!”

When he got there to pick it up he realized he forgot his wallet and we were going to come back and a sweet young lady name Josie said she wanted to pay. We wanted to give her money but she said no. Such a Kind thing caring person and we will return the pay it forward chain. We were having a not so good night and God came through someone else’s heart. “I gotta say, this is by far one of the nicest Starbucks I’ve been to. My order is almost always right, the service has been super nice and accommodating, the one time my order was wrong, they bent over backwards to make it right. No in your face politics, just awesome service and consistently good coffee and treats. Bonus - the dining area is very work oriented, too, love the long communal laptop and tablet-friendly work table.”

“I just ordered 2/22/2025 at 3:58pm. I ordered 1 baby club plate with half n half o rings and fries, 1 turkey club sandwich and a BLT. for $32.02 I received the baby club, with just fries, (2.75 upcharge for plate half/half) burnt toast on 2 of the 3 sandwiches and day or two old bacon on all. No repeat of order via speaker/microphone. #30:Julie was whom took the order. We will not be coming back. It's a shame since our family lives only 2 miles away.”
