Came in for brunch on a Monday afternoon and were one of only two tables dining. We ordered a kids’ burger meal, a kids’ grilled cheese meal, and avocado toast. While the food looked appealing, it unfortunately lacked flavor. The avocado toast tasted unpleasant and the avocado seemed off.

The kids’ burger was undercooked. When I showed it to the waitress, she insisted it was cooked through and only slightly pink. I opened it further to show that the meat was clearly raw. She eventually took it back to have it remade, but after waiting for some time, we decided to leave and get a burger elsewhere.

Overall, the experience was disappointing and not what we expected.

Used to come here so often. Service and food quality have completely dropped off in the past 6 months. While the menu prices have only increased. Crazy. Servers know the quality is atrocious and food takes forever to come out, so they will add an automatic 20% gratuity(only two of us, not a group). Will not be returning anymore.

One of the best lil mom n pop places to eat! Fantastic homemade food and near the quaint area of Southport. You will eat here and easily want to plan your next meal there!

Love this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. If you want to walk off your calories afterwards, there’s a beautiful walking path right next-door with wildlife.

A simple breakfast was over $50.00. The food was horrible, had to wait going on an hour for it. There was only two other table with people.

Food is a bit pricey, but it is a really cute restaurant in an old one-room school house. The seats in the booths are a bit worn and sunken in. Could use a little sprucing up. Overall good experience.

Price was higher then price given over phone when ordering take out. Ordered sweet potato fries and got waffle fries. Good food just a little disappointed over mix up and increased price. I would have tipped otherwise. I read on the sign they add gratuity that goes to the manager so that's probably what it was. Lady was super sweet who checked me out and busy... probably why they mixed up. I get it but $20 for a mixed up sandwich order sucks on my part.

Loved my Breakfast Burrito and my wife her Pancake Griddle Breakfast. Do yourself a favor and if it's full, just come back another day. The place is not that big and they apparently are not the fastest. They told us about half an hour wait and it ended up being an hour. I'm diabetic and I was feeling woozy.

I went in on Sept 2nd for brunch with my service K9. No issues. It's in an old 1 room schoolhouse. Very quaint. We were seated immediately. Our servers name was Anysa, she was friendly and attentive. She took care of all questions and needs. She was very good. The restaurant wasn't very busy. There were a few people inside. I got a coffee to drink the Country fried steak breakfast special, with eggs scrambled and a side order of biscuits and gravy. I'm from Maryland so grits are something we don't do in the North. So I actually tried them. They weren't bad. Food was good, but a tad expensive I thought. When visiting I always try and support small local businesses. Eat local!

The group I was with came in for breakfast before heading out fishing. Awesome service and great food. PS, a train wreck will feed two people 😂.
