We ate there on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Food was great! Fried pickles were excellent! The best we ever had! Burgers were good also. Chicken was great! our waitress was very good.

We've ordered takeout before and thought the food was good. We've eaten a lot of passable food in the area so far, but nothing good enough to visit again.Thought it would be much better if fresher so we went to eat inside. Long story short, the waitress got my husband's order wrong, she dropped his food on herself so he had to wait for new food to be made on top of it. We were told we would get a discount and did not. Also, our appetizer never came so we didn't receive it until after we had to wait for my husband's second plate of food. If we eat there again at all, it will be to go.

Great dinner. Food was perfect and the service was friendly.
Would not recommend, the beer was hot, food was cold and uninspired. The staff was inattentive and rude. There are much better restaurants to dine at in the area.

They have great food. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband had the Reuben . So good . I highly recommend . Location is weird though . It’s in a medical complex. So it does not stand out. .
10/13/24 @ 5:10 pm waited to be greeted and seated for 8min no one and I mean NO ONE acknowledged we were standing there. We left because after that you don't deserve my money. Customer service is everything and since the pandemic it lacks big time in restaurants

Service was terrible. Got seated and took our drink orders and never came back for our food. Dining room was not very busy at all and after checking on everyone without us with zero acknowledgment we walked out. I’m not a thief so of course I paid for the drinks at the bar with no tip. Never again..
Had a great time at the Carolina Tavern. Heard about this place from a couple of friends and it did not disappoint. The food here was really good. Very much good authentic food. I had wings and they were delicious. The price was more than fair. The staff here was really sweet and helpful. Will most definitely be returning very soon!
