I tried JV tonight. The aroma hits you as you’re walking in the door. It’s a very family-friendly place with games and a kid corner. Also very clean. We had a slight mixup with our order that I didn’t catch until I got home. I called the number on the receipt and they offered to remake the pizza, refund us, and let me know (via text) when it was done so I didn’t have to wait again. Ordered online through DoorDash. They didn’t have one flavor I ordered and I received a sticky note with my order to find out they not only gave me an awesome replacement to what was out of stock but gave me an extra order of the other!!! What a fantastic way to take care of your customers. We will absolutely be back!!!
Love this place! My wife and I stopped by Saturday afternoon 12/6. We each ordered a 10” personal pizza…we both thought the pizza was amazing! They use sourdough crust which was great and the sauce was perfect!
Since they have ice cream I tried a couple of scoops and that was delicious too. They have many choices of hand scooped plus soft serve.
We will definitely be back!

Junior Varsity is an absolute gem and a favorite pizza place in Rock Hill, York County. The pizza is amazing, delicious, tasty, authentic, incredible, wonderful, and outstanding. It is made with a spectacular sourdough crust using a starter, which gives the dough perfect and fantastic flavor. Specific pizzas mentioned include the small supreme, large chicken bacon ranch, meatball ricotta, pepperoni, dill pickle pizza, and Hawaiian. The ingredients are flavorful, fresh, pungent, popping, and clearly made with care. The restaurant also has Two Scoops ice cream under the same roof, with fantastic selections like Shipwrecked, which is chocolate ice cream with Oreos and salted caramel, and Cookies by the Sea, a cookies and cream with salted caramel. The ice cream is delicious and a perfect dessert.
The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and genuine. The owner is passionate and cares deeply about the business, which shows in the quality. The restaurant itself is spotless and offers a chill, homey feel with board games, sports, and music, providing plenty of things for small children to do. It is a perfect addition to Rock Hill and an ideal date spot, offering a great experience where guests feel welcome. The combination of amazing pizza and amazing ice cream in one stop is a dream combo, making Junior Varsity a permanent spot in regular rotations for many.
