Enjoyed our visit here for our last family dinner while on Spring Break. Loved the food &views of the water, would definitely go back again! That they take reservations was much appreciated.
We loved this place! We made a reservation ahead of time, then the two of us went with our toddler. It was very kid-friendly and had a kids' menu with lots of great options (my guy LOVED his alfredo pasta). The drinks were spectacular – beautifully made and unique! Kudos to the bartender. We shared the she crab soup and the coconut shrimp as appetizers, both of which were impeccable. I got the Margherita flatbread (yum!) and my husband got a basket with shrimp, flounder, and crab cakes. Everything was delicious. The view of the water was excellent and the environment was lovely. I highly recommend Morgan River Grill!Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Great kids menu, not at all stuffy, and a playground right outside the restaurant.

Love this place. Dined twice last week. Valentines Day was special treat. Really enjoyed the brie with figs and the special dessert with figgy pudding, ice cream and the best maple sauce and crunchies. The lobster ravioli was excellent as was the beef Wellington. Lunch later in the week with flatbread pizza was delicious. One of our go to places in the Beaufort area.

Food is delicious. The view is magnificent. Concerning the questions- I have enjoyed both dine in & take out. THIS IS A FAVORITE PLACE FOR BOTH LUNCH & DINNER. In regard to cost, i have spent in the $10/person level & also at the $50/person level. Both levels have been prepared & presented with the same extraordinary expertise. Regarding recommendations - all offerings are delicious. so my recommendation is - have a burger for lunch & come back for dinner for lobster ravioli. By the way, save room for dessert because the bread pudding is the VERY BEST!! BON APETIT TO ALL.

We were visiting the area on a Wednesday and asked a local for a restaurant recommendation. While it was a little bit of a drive and we had to pass through the community security, the location and food was delicious! Prompt service, quick kitchen, and every bite was to die for! Our only negative was a few of the bar guests were rather loud. We were offered a table on the covered porch area (with heat), but declined as we thought inside would be warmer. At the time we arrived, there were very few dinners, but then the bar filled up some and became loud.

This spot has really upped their game! In the last couple of months, better menu items, better food preparation, better hours of operation. Really wonderful weekly specials!
Shrimp & scallops Alfredo seasoned pasta was outstanding. The service was equally fine. Though a bit chilly outside, the porch dinning are was nice and toasty.

I was in the area I just picked a spot on the map with outdoor seating waterfront be aware this is on a private island. You need to go through a gate and get a pass. The restaurant is in a beautiful spot scenery is fantastic. My waitress. Anita was fantastic. Food was good. I was here for lunch, so it was very quiet, but I can see where this would get very busy. Definitely would stop by by boat coming through here.

Our daughter's rehearsal dinner was fantastic! Amy and her staff exceeded our expectations. The decor was simple, elegant and matched the wedding colors/theme perfectly. From the 2 massive tables of crudites, cheeses, charcuterie, etc. to the carved prime rib to the 4 different passed hors d'oeuvres to the Grits and Mac & Cheese bars, to the freshly shucked oysters (3 varieties), the food was plentiful and delicious! Our 120 + guests were charmed by the low country settings, and wowed by food and service at MRG. Thank you, Amy, for kickstarting my daughter's wedding weekend off with a perfect welcome dinner.

My husband and I along with our 3 kids came in for lunch yesterday, and everything was just amazing! Our waitress was awesome. Our food was beyond delicious, I got the seafood pasta and my husband got the pasta Alfredo. We were both SO happy with our dishes. Our children got the shrimp baskets and a pepperoni pizza, all tasted great. We definitely stole a few fries from them. Also we got the raw oysters on the half shell, some of the best we have had in a while. So big and fresh, clean with no grit. My husband was also very happy they had Blantons at the bar, and I enjoyed a yummy Skinny Blueberry Lavender fizz drink. The lunch prices you cannot beat! We will be back for dinner next ?
