Hidden Gem!!! We arrived to an almost empty restaurant but it didn't disappoint. Our server (Denise) was super friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was very tasty. I had the fried shrimp Po boy with fries and coleslaw. My fellow golf buddies had the fried pork chops and the seafood platter. We devoured it! Prices and portions were very good as well. Don't sleep on this little spot!

The Santee Seafood Bistro is great food and warm people, seasoned with love! What an amazing spot. Arriving just after dusk, a beautiful warm glow on pull-up was very inviting. My long-awaited first dive into shrimp and grits had to be the right spot, right time. Also, I wanted it to be in South Carolina to create that memory, in a lovely and loving place. Well, the shrimp and grits happened here (first-timer), and I may have just had the best bite on the planet! Unbelievably...

The food here left a lot to be desired. I gave 2 stars bc the hush puppies are fire, but the flounder, crab cakes, and fish and chips (cod) were not. Maybe I came on the wrong night, but this wasn't it. Our waitress meant well and was an absolute sweetheart, and the place had a nice little vibe, but the food just wasn't on point.
