Very nice space. Clean. Spacious for our decent sized group to fellowship after a homegoing service. Food was great with Lots of variety. Cashier was friendly. Love the school house theme. It's cash only.
I had lunch here on a Friday right after they started serving. They have a large buffet with lots of choices. Their pulled pork comes with a vinegar sauce already applied and they have a liver based hash. They have fried and barbecue chicken. I also ate fat back, chicken dumplings, chicken bog, smoked sausage, black eyed peas, collard greens, fried okra, hash and rice, and corn. For desert I ate their wonderful peach cobbler. I couldn't sample all of the buffet choices....
I went here on the recommendation of a local farmer and I was not disappointed! The southern cooking is absolutely wonderful. It was fried chicken and barbecue chicken and barbecue pork and chicken gravy and rice and potato salad and macaroni salad and desserts, oh my goodness! Having a soft serve ice cream machine so I could put soft vanilla on top of that apple cobbler? The ended the meal perfectly, and the price was VERY reasonable for an "all you can eat".
