Fast Food Restaurants near Shaw Air Force Base

“I know it's fast food but hear me out
They no longer use artificial anything. I eat salad 4 days a week for lunch and Friday is me day. I have been going to the BK on Shaw Air Force base each Friday for a couple of months. I get the double cheeseburger, no mustard, small fries and a mountain dew zero. The fries are very good now, and the burger is yum. If it weren't good, I'd go somewhere else or eat another delicious salad prepped by my wife.“

“Great food, great service. Only issue was findind the correct entrance. They face a main road with a small parking lot in front and a larger one beside the bldg. If you want to park in front, you have to squeze by the drive through lane. Need better signage.“

“I have had their food about 6 times now. I love their subs and pizza. I have asked for items that turned out not to be on the menu and they added it to my pizza. The lady who takes my order is polite and always gets the order correct. I didn't rate the atmosphere as I have never dined in. I am always picking up food for my family“

“Showed up with a list of 19 orders, usually we plan ahead but this was last minute. They didn't even blink twice, professional organized great service. In and out in almost 30min. Shout out to Kayla, Emily, Travis and everyone that helped. Thank you.“

“Last minute dinner idea tonight turned into an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and helpful the store was clean the Food was prepared pretty quickly and tasted amazing! Definitely try the new French dipper its amazing. Thank you Arby's crew we will definitely be back!“

Friendly staff. Menu is easy to read with large print. Stocked options. Restaurant is clean. Location seems simple enough, I wasn’t in town long enough to get to know the area. Overall good first time visit to any firehouse subs. Sandwich came well packed in its own disposable dish, that’s a nice feature I wasn’t expecting.

Edit: I’m not a fan of the honey ham. I found the ham too sweet and downgraded the overall sandwich experience.
I also looked over the receipt and see I was charged $1.50 for a pickle spear, now I will say the pickle spear was unexpectedly more flavorful. The zest of garlic and pickling spices added a nice touch to the meal, but shame on the restaurant for charging $1.50 for a spear and not even letting the customer know there was an extra charge.

“Went here today and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. I got there and guy handed me the box and about 10 pieces was on there. I was about to pop my lid. Until Shaun stepped in and had my pizza remade. He was amazing, his customer service skills are amazing. He make sure it was make correctly and he walked it to my car. Pizza Hut almost got one star from me but Shaun gets 5stars from me. (First picture is what I got) (second one is was was remade)“

“The Auxiliary Unit 15 asked Bojangles to help feed our National Guard troops waiting for Hurricane Florence here is Sumter, SC. They did so with a wonderful full sized meal plan. The troops send there love! (Posted Pic on FB)“

And if you get pulled into parking they bring your stuff quickly other McDonald’s in Sumter including HWY 15 will have you sitting in a parking spot for 10 min and forget all about you“

“Captain D's is a seafood restaurant located on S Pike next to Shoney's is friendly, clean, and respectable staff and atmosphere. The food is not 5-star quality but palpable. To its credit, CD's gives veterans' and senior discounts! I ordered the Fish and Shrimp Dinner with broccoli and corn on the cob for my sides. The food was brought to the table, hot and fresh. Go! (and don't forget to leave a tip)!“

“I’ve been visiting this location throughout the summer taking the grandchildren to play for lunch. The store is consistently clean, food is always hot / fresh, and the staff are always on point. Management is fully engaged with the Team and the overall environment is welcoming.“

“Captain Ds is a great place eat and I highly recommend but I came in last night 5/30/26 at around 9:30 as an Uber delivery driver. As I pulled into the parking lot the place appeared to be closed so according to uber's policy if a restaurant is closed we're directed to take a pic of the door being locked. The lights were really really dim in the dining area and the drive thru lights were out. So as I'm taking this Pic for Uber and canceling the order,some young lady appeared from the back. I pulled on the door and it was open so I asked the young lady was the place open and she said yes. I asked why do you guys appear to be closed and a manager came out of the back and said that the previous manager I guess s that was there before her had forgotten to turn the drive thru lights on. The way that she said it seemed snarky and attitudish so I left and ended up calling Uber to explain the situation. I woke up this morning to an email saying that the restaurant gave me the order that I came there for which is false. When I called uber,they'll call the restaurant to verify if the restaurant is close or not but evidently whoever answered the phone told Uber that the order was picked up but the driver never verified the order before leaving. I spoke with a manager this morning via phone from captain Ds verifying that the order was still there. Captain Ds is a great place to dine but unfortunately sometimes businesses hires the wrong people and it can damage a company's reputation and integrity. I could've lost my job and they could've completely ban from the app indefinitely.“

“Went to sonic today and ordered a 44 cherry limeade and a number 1 meal with tots and 44 oceanwater slush. Team was really fast and very friendly.young lady at the windows was a Rockstar. Great service and awesome team. We'll done ✔“

“?? The works with spicy sausage always hits and the meatball papadilla is one of our faves. We always place with the app and pickup and never had issues. Good customer service and quality on pickup. The chocolate chip cookie was super good- everyone had some and all said it was a great cookie cake style dessert.“

“I absolutely love this place Burger King makes the best Burger over a flame that is grilled of any fast food restaurant. Burger King also typically get your food right 95% of the time, however the service is extremely slow and on top of that the atmosphere is completely empty and though there is nobody inside they have trouble getting the line through the drive-thru moving. I can understand that they don't have many customers that come in to eat and dine in but if they're dining area is Frugal and non-existent with customers why does it take 10 to 15 minutes to pull up to the window and then you're still waiting on your food. I don't know who the manager is of the store or should I say district manager of the Burger King in Morganton but I would suggest having more workers in the back making food or having more than one person working in a window that takes money and then at the second window that person gives food to the customer unless the person who takes cash originally isn't there then the person that the second drive-thru is doing both jobs which I'm sure is not in her job description or his description I will give credit for credit due the employees are quite nice and cordial to the customers even though some customers are more difficult than others so I will give the employees props for doing their job however I do believe they need more help especially when the dining area is empty and maybe one or two people are in there but that does not define or designate the drive-thru line waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to pull up to the window and you have to repeat your order to them because something is wrong with the older woman who orders your food Sol Food absolutely great best burger you can get around for fast food the employees are cordial and great sometimes you get one that's shity but we all have bad days right I believe the district manager needs to set more employees in the back because one employee to work the Burger Station the fire station which is included to the window who also makes drinks having three people in the back to make the food and make drinks is not enough so thank the employees that do work for their hard work however they need to speak to the district manager or somebody needs to put a call in“

“They took out the nice seating and replaced it with cramped, cheap booths. It feels very confined and unwelcoming.. food was good, servers seemed overwhelmed as two people had to handle food preparation, guests, drive through and register. Subway can do better!“

“Just wanted a dinner and a movie night at home with the kids. Always ordered online so I have no experience with anyone inside. Delivery has always been 45-55 minutes so I plan accordingly. Only complaint is every time I put in for contactless delivery, but it never happens. That’s not the end of the world. I recommend online order and delivery option.“

“I was always a big fan of their chocolate chip cookies but, the quality of the cookies has gone down lately. Just way too much chocolate chips in the cookies that it overpowers the cookie itself. You can't taste the cookie from the chips and you are left with a chocolatey mess on your hand, especially if you are driving.“

“I'm on vacation and we do not have a Zaxby's where I live . Awesome food and great staff. Glad my daughter in law suggested this place. I'm not good about trying new things. Highly recommend!“
