“I’ve lived here for 24 years, and tonight was the first time I’d ever been to (or even heard of ) Shanghai Tokyo. I’m from NY and was lucky to experience some of the best Chinese out there. Y’all...this place is hands down THE BEST Chinese I’ve ever had in Greenville! I took a bite of each of my dishes and found myself talking aloud (to myself) about how good it was and how happy I am! 🤣🤦‍♀️“

I’ve tried most of the small locally owned places around Simpsonville and Mauldin, and none of them deliver consistently good food like Chang An.

I usually just get honey or sesame chicken and it always turns out good. It’s never unfresh or drenched in sauce like at some other places.

The people seem nice as well. I’m happy to give Chang An my business.“

“I went and picked up lunch for myself and my family yesterday. It was fantastic!! I ate the leftovers for dinner that night and tonight I’m eating the last of it. I’m eating everything that everyone else couldn’t finish and I’m telling you that it’s all good. My only complaint is I should have ordered more shrimp egg rolls so that I could have had at least one with each leftover meal. They also had $2.25 bottles of Dr pepper. That’s way cheaper than any gas station out there. I will be getting a few of those along with the shrimp egg rolls next time.“

“We finally got to try this fantastic restaurant.. two thumbs up 👍👍 we had the lunch special which comes with soup as well. I had the Mongolian beef and hot and sour soup.. my husband had the Peking chicken with hot and sour soup and an eggroll their sauce is homemade and the hot mustard was made from scratch using horseradish.... We will be back for more . great staff and friendly service“

“I tried Asia Pacific for the first time. General Tso chicken, broccoli, & my parents both got the spicy fish hot pot. We shopped afterwards in the supermarket. Service was phenomenal! Food was the best Chinese I've had in Greenville. Will definitely be back! 😋“

“Here are the only three reasons you need to eat here: first, the service is fantastic. It's like being in a full service restaurant without the wait times and price of a full service restaurant. Second, the food is delicious. Best sesame and bourbon chicken around. Third, they have the best egg rolls I've ever eaten. “This is a favorite in Greenville. The inside isn’t huge but has a great atmosphere. Large portions, love the food. They do a great job. A couple times our takeout was incorrect, so check before you leave if taking it to go. Otherwise I could eat here multiple times a week.“

“The only real issue I have with this restaurant is the fact that 3 days after the ice storm there was still an exceptional amount of ice in the parking lot making it quite dangerous for customers to exit and then re-enter their vehicles but the food was amazing and service was great“
