“We are new to the area and desired to try Carolina BBQ. Discovered Henry's Smokehouse reading other Google reviews and decided to try it out. The atmosphere is casual, the staff is very friendly, but mostly the food is truly delicious. We tried the chopped pork plate which melts in your mouth and the choice of sides are also great. Topping off a great meal was their homemade banana pudding, is a must try for banana fans. Government it a try, but come hungry. Thanks for a great experience.“

“Really solid BBQ all around. The chopped pork sandwiches are the standout and easily what I would recommend to anyone going for the first time. I had the hog and it delivered exactly what you want from good barbecue. Tender, juicy pork with a deep smoky flavor and just the right amount of spice to give it some kick without overpowering the meat. It tastes like it’s been done the right way, low and slow.

The portions are satisfying and the sandwich comes together well without being a mess to eat. You can tell they know what they’re doing when it comes to balancing flavor and texture. It’s not trying to reinvent barbecue, it just executes the classics really well.

I don’t find myself going as often as I might otherwise, mostly because I do a lot of similar smoking at home. But when I want that same flavor without committing the time and effort, this place absolutely delivers. It hits the spot every time and is a reliable option when the craving for real BBQ kicks in.“
