“A surprisingly good variety and supply of products despite the size of the building. The staff is relatively friendly and open to you just browsing, however eager to get you to join the coop. They have a lot of local food and great prices.-1 star: there are many reasons to shop at a coop, one being helping the environment. Unfortunately almost all of the products are unnecessarily packaged in lots of plastic. No bulk bins.”

“Jared the owner (great Patriot) volunteered to provide complimentary coffees to us poll workers here at the Six Mile Elementary School! We are here for 13 hours and cannot leave and Red White and Brew went above and beyond for us! Thank you for the great coffees and service with a smile!”

“After a hard flight in from Kansas City to speak at a paranormal conference in Pickens we rented a Air BnB in 6 Mile. Took a short nap (5 hours lol ) we all woke up late and were starving. We found this place and fell in love with the name. Even with us walking in just before closing the staff were gracious and took us right in and served us dinner. We all had the chopped steak smothered in onions, jalapeños and cheese with plenty of brown gravy. I'm just gonna say it was awesome. It sure filled us up. I can't rave enough about how great this place is. Thank You all for the great welcome YOU ALL ROCK”

“I already thought that Handel’s make some of the best ice cream I’ve tasted, but today Handel’s lived up to its family friendly, good customer reputation in a big way. A young counter person made a minor understandable order taking error. When she fixed her mistake, she did it pleasantly and with a smile before refusing the additional payment that was due. In fact, she declined my offer of payment several times.
I live at a bit of a distance, but I am going to be a loyal, repeat customer.”

“We got two of the pies for dinner- the mince and the steak and potato, and both were delicious! The flavor is so good and the pastry is perfect. My mother-in-law is a kiwi and these pies were famous in Colorado, she saw they had moved here and immediately called me and told me to go get some. She can’t wait to come up and have some herself! Cant recommend enough and so happy we have another wonderful lunch/dinner place in central!!”

“We dropped in with about twenty people after a wrestling tournament on Saturday February the first and the employees and manager were awesome. Very accommodating and patient and helpful. The pizzas we ordered were delicious. One of our little wrestlers caused a spill and the manager was right out and helped clean up. I will definitely be back when we come back here”

“Always a nice meal here. Our server Hali was very attentive and helpful. We skipped apps, and our salads were fresh and tasty. My 7oz filet was cooked perfectly (blue, the way I like it, and few restaurants get it right). The risotto was creamy and the broccoli rabe was nicely seasoned and not over cooked. The Cab Franc paired perfectly with my entree. My partner got the swordfish that was also perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The chips and guacamole really didn’t add anything to the dish, however, but it was fine. The dry Riesling was a nice pairing with this. We were seated not too far from the bar area. We forgot about Jazz on the Ally Thursday nights so it was packed and the bar area started to become very loud. Unfortunately there are quite a few privileged people in this area that feel being publicly drunk and obnoxiously loud is acceptable, even in a nicer restaurant. This isn’t the restaurants’ fault but it certainly impacts the quality of the atmosphere. Even Hali offered us a free dessert to make up for the interruption it caused, but we paid for our desserts anyway. We did suggest that there be automatic sliding doors fitted so that the noise could be contained in the bar area leaving the diners to enjoy their meals. Our desserts were also delightful. We had the banana brûlée and strawberry brûlée. Overall it was a very nice meal with very good service (which is hard to come by in this area).”

“Great to return to Clemson for some homemade ice cream. Wide variety of flavors, but Peach Ice Cream, with generous chunks of peaches is always my choice. Have to buy some of their famous Bleu Cheese for later consumption.”

“Service was amazing! Staff were so sweet :) I had an oat milk matcha latte and a double chocolate cookie. The double chocolate cookie was soo yummy! The matcha not so much :( Matcha wasn’t mixed in very well and the particles tasted salty. The matcha powder tasted like it was low quality. It also didn’t help that they don’t offer soy milk :((
