My man at the counter definitely seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to make a smoothie for me. He was watching a video on his phone when I entered which is all good, but the eye roll and huffing when he had to stand up wasn’t appreciated. Following that, when I asked to make a customization he seemed even further agitated by that. Smoothie itself was just okay.

I’m visiting from out of town and I’ve heard amazing things about this place from friends and family and figured after leaving the gym this would be a good treat. When I get there the young man was very kind but let me know they only had ONE type of bowl and that was cow based and everything else was just a smoothie option. This was extremely disappointing because I went out of my way to drive here only to be met with the fact that they don’t have any bowls. I’m sure they probably are tasty but this was not a good experience whatsoever and I can’t say I would return. The only reason they are getting two stars because the young man had good customer service.

Got a smoothie bowl today and asked for protein powder to be added. I did get protein powder added to the top of my bowl under my fruit and granola, so I didn’t notice until I was home. I didn’t just pay $17 for a bowl to have chalky protein powder sitting on top. I am hoping I’ll get a call back about a refund but we shall see.

This is the worst cocobowlz I’ve ever ate I’m really disappointed with my recent order from Cocobowlz. They added bananas even though I’m allergic, which shows they didn’t respect my allergy at all. I had also paid for extra Nutella, honey, and coconut, but none of those add-ons were included. Since I ordered through DoorDash, I couldn’t even have them fix it. This isn’t the first time either — when I go in person, my orders are often missing or not taken correctly. This is the third time this has happened, and it’s honestly frustrating and unsafe.

Covobowls is an absolute gem located downtown! The shop is bright, clean, and spacious, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax or grab something on the go.
We tried the Beast Mode and Nutty Buddy smoothies, and both were fantastic! Even though they didn’t have bananas that day, the staff was super flexible and offered strawberries instead — and honestly, it worked out perfectly. The flavors blended so smoothly, and you could really taste how fresh the ingredients were. It’s clear that they care about quality and making sure every customer leaves happy.
What I love most about Cocobowls is that it’s a healthy option that still feels like a sweet treat. The smoothies are rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being heavy or overly sweet. You can tell everything is made with intention and care.
Whether you’re looking for a post-workout drink, a quick pick-me-up, or just something refreshing on a warm day, I highly recommend stopping by Cocobowls. Their menu has something for everyone, and the friendly staff makes the experience even better.

Great customer service! I love so many of there options. Today, I got the Power Up smoothie. Swapped the whey protein for the plant-based chocolate protein powder. Loved it. They also have the best açaí bowl in Spartanburg!

I stopped by Cocobowlz in Spartanburg and tried one of their smoothies. The flavor was excellent—fresh, smooth, and really well-balanced. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it definitely hit the spot.
The staff was also very welcoming and made the experience enjoyable from the moment I walked in.
That said, I was a bit surprised by the price. $10 for a 16oz smoothie felt a little high, even for a specialty shop. Still, if you're looking for something healthy and tasty, it's worth a try.
