Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Shopped around while we waited for a table, about 15 minutes. It was Prime Sarurday lunchtime, so that wasn't bad at all. We had a wonderful server, she let us know the kitchen was a little behind, but she'd be keeping track. She was very kind and funny. Food was delishious, the Maple bacon chicken was *chef kiss* 🤌 and the okra was cooked perfect.

My last visit to this restaurant was only mediocre... They served me sour tasting macaroni and cheese, and the waitress argued with us about what does or doesn't come with our meals.

We've eaten at this location on multiple occasions, but our last visit was subpar.

I've eaten at CBs all across the country, and this was the 1st time I've been terribly disappointed. The chicken & dumplings were cold, the meatloaf was dry, the biscuits were overcooked & the broccoli & cheese was awful - too much breading. The green beans were very good, tho.

My daughters side meats were all too done to be edible, didn't receive all her food in first place, had to ASK someone else for more coffee.

Service was very slow this day.waitress was very friendly however.prob.understaffed this day.the food was plentiful and comfort food.always enjoy the gift shop..esp the new line of clothing they have lately.register workers and gift shop workers were very nice people. Very sad to find the carrots recipe has changed..no longer sweet and melt in your mouth goodness.I was warned by fellow diner that it had changed..but didn't think they would change it..but alas...it was very bland now and indeed not the same taste or texture.

Pickup time was 11:24 am and I stood in the store for 20 minutes before I had to leave. Didn’t receive my order. Never Again.

Food was good as normal, but sadly they were out of everything I originally wanted, still great food, and love the decor. They let the fire die down to much and it was a little to much smoke in the air. Other than being out of a few things,the only bad was the waitress, kept pushing us to order when we wasn't ready.

Although this was a smaller store, I bought two gifts for Christmas. And, as always, the food was very good. My server was phenomenal.
