Original post: I don’t know what my family and I did to receive the bad service we did, but it was terrible tonight. Response from owner: Hi Daniel, Normally we would be grateful for your feedback. We will refrain from this since you did not receive any form of bad service during your visit with us. You were greeted within 90 seconds of being seated even though the rest of your party had not yet arrived at the table. Your drinks were on the table within a minute of that greeting. Your family's food was accurately entered and arrived without mistakes within 20 minutes of the kitchen receiving the ticket. Your server was constantly checking in on you and your family, pre-bussing, providing refills, and genuinely chatting with your family. The only mishap that we will apologize for was the sweet tea incident. Someone from our team accidentally dumped all the sweet tea. Your server made you aware of this scenario, and you opted to have a diet coke instead of another sweet tea refill, so we thought. We must have misunderstood that you also wanted sweet tea. Once we were made aware that you were still expecting sweet tea (when you charged up to the front of house manager shaking your cup). Your server and the front of house manager then quickly brewed and sweetened tea for you and delivered it as soon as they could. When you were all finished up you decided to leave us this review. When you got up from the table to leave you walked over to the bartender with a smile on your face and asked to speak with a manager. She alerted me and I quickly walked over thinking we were going to have a pleasant conversation. You asked me to go somewhere private with you so we could talk. This seemed odd and made me uncomfortable as the restaurant was closed and completely empty except for you and your family. I walked over to a table with you where you proceed to spew a ridiculous monologue, very aggressively, with no actual details except that your tea wasn't sweet enough and that your server was completing other tasks while serving your family (we call this side work in the industry). Although she was in fact doing side work, she was never absent and continued to provide you with service and ensured that the dirty tables around you were being cleaned in a timely manner. See she does have to walk away from her section (your table) to get dirty dishes to the dishwasher. So, to state that you received bad service just doesn't add up. We noticed that this seems to be a pattern with your review history and would like to suggest that next time you think about dining out just spare the restaurant the anguish of having to respond to such ridiculous outbursts and reviews. Perhaps dining at home is more suited for you. Response to owner: Your response to my review makes it clear that you relied solely on surveillance footage rather than understanding the actual issues we experienced. That lack of insight is exactly the problem. At no point did I complain about wait times for seating or food. If a restaurant provides good service and a quality product, waiting for a table is not an issue. I am unclear why you focused on this, as it was never part of my complaint. You also stated that our food was “without mistake,” which is simply untrue. The fries were cold and had to be sent back. While mistakes happen and we moved past it without issue, misrepresenting what occurred is unacceptable—especially when you referenced video footage that clearly shows this. Your characterization of our server is equally inaccurate. She was not “constantly checking in” on us. She was focused on closing duties rather than the needs of our table. My drink sat empty for an extended period while she repeatedly passed by despite my attempts to get her attention. I ultimately had to get up and politely ask another staff member for a refill. There was no shaking of a cup, no rude behavior, and no request for a Diet Coke, despite what your response claims. The interaction that ultimately led to my review was with management—not over swee

My husband and I often frequented Cribbs for burgers on a date night. However, the last time we went (Nov 25) they have significantly changed the menu and removed majority of their burgers. We specifically loved the crab rangoon burger cook off winner and it is no longer offered. They have two burgers left on the menu, the jamipoo and the most recent cookoff winner so we tried one (the bacon jam-brie) and the patty melt. Both say they are smash burger patties but were not smashed at all, in fact they were very large and only on half the burger. We were disappointed in the lack of flavor and assembly of the sandwiches. Our service was great, even though the kitchen was backed up and we enjoy being in the restaurant. However, after the menu changes, I am not sure we will be back.

We came in with 2 children, looking for a good bite to eat. What a great place to bring a date or your family. Great food, great atmosphere and most of all great service. Arizona was our server and delivered fantastic service and enhanced our experience. We will definitely be recommending and returning. Thank you!
