Employees extremely rude! We went in to have a sweet treat on my birthday and every employee was so rude. They stood there and stared at us like we were aliens. Laughing at us! I honestly have never experienced anything like it in my life. Unbelievable. Will not ever go in there again.
This was the perfect place to have a birthday party. Most places make you feel rushed and like there is no time to enjoy but Hub City Scoops did not make us feel that way. So much stress was taken off of me due to them decorating for us! My girl and her friends loved the ice cream!
If you are looking for a space to have your child’s birthday party, this is the spot. It’s affordable, spacious, you have your own ice cream flavors, AND if you drop off your decorations before, they decorate for you. They have everything you need for a party.

Hub City Scoops offers some of the best ice cream around, with single scoops that actually mean one scoop! While some find the ice cream too gummy, the excellent customer service keeps them coming back. Kids love the decor and the funky chairs, and the location near the downtown park is a great choice. The green tea and chocolate cherry cones are a favorite for many customers, along with unique flavors like Kitty Kitty Bang Bang and This Just Got Serious. They also offer yummy vegan ice cream with several flavor options. The waffle bowls are crisp and fresh, though some cones can be stale. It’s a nice little shop in the downtown area of Spartanburg, conveniently close to hotels and event centers.
