Chicken were a hit, they were good. Fish could've used a bit more seasoning but other than that, it was good as well. Our server was friendly and very attentive. It's a small family friendly environment. Not a big crowd. I would definitely go back.
The restaurant decor is very cute but I was disappointed in the quality of the food. I ordered coconut shrimp and when it came out it was a pile of battered fried shrimp with a sweet sauce on top of a bed of shredded lettuce, not shrimp with coconut flakes on it and fried. In addition none of their shrimp is deveined except for the shrimp that comes in the boil. I really think that’s a common standard for good seafood. Seeing a 4star rating we were reluctant to try to... But I'm Glad we did. It was awesome. Whoever gave them must have been a pissy Democrat. We highly recommend Joy crab and will be back!
