What a nice hidden gem. The staff work there tails off, great food, fun atmosphere.

This was actually not our first choice restaurant as we had reservations elsewhere, but when plans fell through we decided to eat here. We were seated promptly and greeted by a friendly staff. The food was great. I ordered the steak special and it was cooked how I liked. The Yukon potatoes served with it were amazing!

High Thyme never fails to deliver an excellent meal and low country atmosphere and welcoming hospitality! It’s been my favorite for several years! Thanks and kudos to owner Emily!

The Keylime pie was the star. The food was meh.

My family and I dined at High Thyme for dinner last night and everything was amazing! Shout out to Emily and our server, Savanna for being so nice and engaging!
We started off with a soft shell crab over grits for our appetizers and wow, what a great choice! It was so fresh and tasted delicious through and through. For our entrees we had the tuna romaine salad, the lamb meatloaf with potatoes, the bone in pork chop with fingerling potatoes and the lasagna. We all loved everything on our plates and each other's plates! This was not our first time here and definitely will not be our last.

This was a lovely find! Great food (with a few excellent vegetarian options), lovely service, heaters and blankets for the porch and don't skip desserts! Highly recommend!

Only negative is brutally challenging parking. Terrific server and very good martini and white wine. Tile fish special was very good. Best grits, and I don't usually like them. Perfect key lime pie. Would look forward to returning.

The food is Fabulous and so is the service! We always get the Lasagna and Key Lime Pie. The food tastes the same every time which speaks volumes! To me, it means that the key people are happy in their positions because the Chef(s) remains on staff. Consistency is the key to dining regardless of the price. Whether I am upscale dining or running for fast food, I desire consistency. High Thyme provides consistency.

My daughter and I were visiting from out of state and had an absolutely amazing experience here. From the moment Emily, the owner, answered the phone to help us figure out our chances of getting in on a Saturday night, we were impressed. The atmosphere was inviting, and Emily even took the time to personally check in on us after our meal. And the food? Simply outstanding. Every bite was incredible - cauliflower dip, seared tuna, mussels… so delish! I can’t recommend this place enough for its exceptional food, ambiance, and service!

Our first time at High Thyme certainly did not disappoint! From the second we entered the door we were greeted with the most fabulous smile and warm welcome. We had to wait a little but were seated at the bar and the bartender suggested the best bottle of wine! The appetizer special was out of this world. And the famous lasagna was perfection. Christy & Emily made our experience so special and we will definitely be back!!!

Visiting from OKC, our family recommended the beef tenderloin dinner with mashed potatoes and asparagus...they said it's their favorite place on Sullivans Island. They were so RIGHT! The meal was cooked absolutely perfectly and the tenderloin was pure beef...no fat or grizzle. Potatoes were delicious and the asparagus crispy...everything served hot. The service was excellent!
