I’m not going to lie with a 3.1 stars I was a little nervous stopping by here! plus Logan’s was super packed lol so I said what the heck let’s see if things have improved here. Stopped by was greeted by the hostess immediately and seated promptly. Moments later the waiter took my order in a timely matter… food was great! Fresh and smoking hot… I ordered wings as an app and the blackened salmon with smashed taters and broccoli ;-) only complaint drinks...read full review
It was our first time there. We received excellent service and the food was great.
My biggest complaint is they have closing hours listed as 11:00PM, however, they close the kitchen at 10:30PM.
C'mon if you close your kitchen at 10:30 PM then list your closing hours as 10:30PM not 11:00PM when you close your front door.

Applebee's Grill + Bar in Sumter, SC offers a mix of experiences. The burger was enjoyable, and the service was good, with a gracious manager accommodating requests. The two for 25 is a perfect option, and the lunch special seemed like a good deal. The waitress was friendly and makes phenomenal drinks. Each group ate well and enjoyed the meal. However, the restaurant is filthy, with dirt and dust hanging in clumps from the ceilings and dead bugs in the light fixtures. Cleanliness could be improved, as evidenced by dirty plates left around. The staff seemed a little overworked and short staffed. Overall, a decent spot if you set your expectations low.
