Ate here for the first time last week and it was absolutely AMAZING! The service was great, atmosphere was welcoming, and food was phenomenal! I ordered the baked Turkey Wings, Mac & Cheese, & Yams. The wait time wasn't long and everything tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend! ❤️

Visited today from Tampa, FL, and the food was absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection, and the meat was falling off the bone. The butter beans and okra, and red kool-aid....Child, please! The staff was great, and Joe made the experience phenomenal. Highly recommended!

First time eating at Genuine Flava. Enjoyed every bite. Excellent portion size; a to go box was necessary. Glad we made the decision to have dinner at Genuine Flava. Atmosphere is relaxing and staff service is excellent.

My family stopped in for some comfort food and was not disappointed. The ox tails were simply amazing, the cabbage was fantastic, and the sweet tea was just right. When we move to Sumter it will be one of my favorite to go restaurants for sure.
Please update hours. I clocked out on lunch, drove all the way across town and it's not even open like the hours suggested. So Frustrating especially after looking at all the food pics and having set on some good food.Edited: In response to the owner, I'm sorry I didn't look on doordash as I didn't want delivery service nor fb as I find google to be more useful since I'm not from the area. Also I inserted a screenshot of what I saw when I searched Google. Forgive me if I overlooked the updated hours that you speak of however I don't see where it says closed. Also another customer pulled up at the same time I did, stating what they saw on Google.
