We visited for the first time yesterday. It was my nephew’s 6th birthday and we wanted to treat him to breakfast. We couldn't have been more impressed! The atmosphere is adorable, and the staff is exceptionally sweet. Since it was our first time, the girl at the counter walked us through the menu and coffee options in detail. very cute place and plenty of sit down space for those that want to eat in. Staff is very friendly as well. Been today for first time for a coffee and breakfast sandwich, both were great! I look forward to coming again, hopefully to try their lunch specials

Friends Café is a cute, cozy, and hidden little gem in Sumter. It offers coffee drinks, breakfast items, and lunch specials with good home cooking that changes every day. The menu includes the Carolina Classic breakfast sandwich, the Nutty Irishman coffee, and a chicken salad. The Tuesday special featured fresh chicken tetrazzini, green beans, roll, and a salad bar. The food is fresh and delicious, with amazing fresh ingredient foods and delicious deserts. The place also has a wall with jams, jellies (including sugar-free), pickled anything, and a cooler of cold salads. Customers can buy home-made products, canned goods, and jewelry. The staff is friendly, receptive, and very nice. The music is subtle, the whole place is spotless, and there is plenty of sit-down space. They also deliver.
