“The waitress was overwhelmed, she was waitressing and running the bar.. she was very sweet and handled the press.. but we didn't get the service we usually get.. never came back for refills of tea, when salad was brought no bread sticks. We asked said they would be right up they were baking.. dinner came we asked again, told they were burned and she would bring out some shortly.. she never did.. another waiter brought our refills and bread sticks at the end of the meal. Other than that food was good.“

“I ordered the orange chicken, triple delight, and hot & sour soup. Unlike the bland hot & sour soups that I’ve received from other Chinese restaurants in the Carolina’s, this soup was explosive with taste, and was spicy delicious! Orange chicken is typically my “go to” item, although many restaurants use dark meat. Grand China Restaurant, however, uses white meat and was clearly better than most. The triple delight was loaded with shrimp, pork, beef and vegetables and was also extremely tasty. Even the fried noodles supplied for my soup was above average. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

We ate in the regular dining room side but we're going to go to the other side where they grill the food in front of you the next time. We will be back.“

“Stopped in several times during our recent stay in the area. A very busy area and I was concerned about a huge crowd inside.

We loved it! A "ginormous" seating area inside and out. We were waited on fast and our food and take out pastries were ready in no time. We had a party of 6 and no wait.

“I’ve been here two days in a row now and sat for hours, as have many members of the community hit by Hurricane Helene and now without power and internet. It is so appreciated that this location chose to open their dining room to us, even if they don’t have all the staff that it would normally take to function at full force. Thank you so much! I’m sure these last several days have been hectic and stressful and then you guys are likely going home to the same no power situation that the rest of us are. Your work and willingness to be there for the community is appreciated! (Also I enjoyed the food and latte).“
