Veggies and meats always come out perfect, fried rice is good, house ginger sauce is really good, and japanese onion soup is always cloudy and flavorful like it should be, not clear and bland. Best part is i usually get 3 dishes for under $20, but yesterday I just got soup, side of fried rice, and a full belly for $6. You cannot beat the prices paired with the consistently delicious food made to order.“

“Went there for my birthday yesterday , great food and presentation, waiter Alec or Alex was perfect , I counted 5 people who came to our table bringing food, drinks appetizers , checking in etc , drinks never ran out , food was timely. Can’t say enough how great they were, hostess was a little blah , but everything else was above any beyond , they even had a birth day card on table as we sat, (wife booked and on open table and also spoke with them on the phone to make sore they had the ousters( yes their charbroiled oysters are amazing ( as good as acme but with their own take on them) thank you again kounter , we will be back“

“Hidden gem. We almost tried everything on the menu. Beef empanada, chicken arepa’s, fish taco, steak taco, carne asada fries, rice & beans, guacamole and all the salsas. They have a salsa bar with about 6 different salsas with varying degrees of heat. I like spicy but just their mild was so flavorful. I will be back!“

“Wow!! Great casual atmosphere, amazing service (we sat at the bar and had Emily tending to us—great info about our options and checked in on us “just right!”), and the. most. DELICIOUS food!! My wedge salad may have been the best I’ve ever had-Emily shared that they make their blue cheese dressing-I raved about the quality and the generous quantity! She’d also recommended the soup of the day that was also quite tasty & as she’d thought, it paired well with my main course-the Cajun pasta with andouille and chicken. The pasta was a great amount of spicy, richly creamy, and the tomato’s warm juiciness was a delightful addition! I stopped myself partway through that dish so I could try the crème brûlée cheesecake—YUM!! Rich, and I’m sure the cream it was garnished with was from scratch—somehow both light and rich!! Definitely must go back to try the other fun menu items!! Oh, I did trade a few bites with my husband who also loved the pasta; it afforded me the chance to try their burger—perfectly cooked, juicy and TASTY under the melted white cheddar & bacon!!“

“Our server Lauren was excellent and the food great. My only concern was the employee sticking his hand in the gummy worm jar at the milk shake station. He did this twice, no gloves, yuck. This is how foodborne illnesses start.“

My partner even commented that it was the cheapest date we've had in a while but was probably one of the best meals. 10/10 would give more stars if possible. Make sure you pay attention to the chalkboard when you enter for the special and ask about desserts.“

We called the restaurant to figure out what happened, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He personally remade the order and delivered it himself, and even gave us free drinks! Not only did they respond within the hour, when I got there, they came out multiple times and made me feel like a appreciation customer. This is one of many reasons we drive passed several other pizza places, in rush hour traffic.“

“My family and I have been several times. We absolutely LOVE the scicilian pizza! They do tend to be very busy around dinner time so either go a little early or be prepared to wait for one of there first come first serve tables. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful each time we are there. The restaurant is always clean and they do clean off vacated tables quickly so tge next party can sit and eat. We will definitely be returning!“

I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again!
