I’m not from Walterboro but I stop in for the chicken salad croissant when I get the chance. It’s always delicious 😋
Longest wait ever since I’ve been coming. The food was ice cold, my husband ate his cuz he was hungry, i asked to pop mine in microwave. But fries were still ice cold and it turned the bread rubber. Fat Jack's is a hidden gem that exceeds expectations and continues to impress diners. The staff accommodates special diets and allergies with care, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The menu boasts impressive dishes, such as the fantastic seafood pasta with perfectly cooked salmon, large shrimp, and savory sauce. The ceaser salad features amazing homemade dressing, and the fried shrimp is a must-try, served with scrumptious hush puppies and creamy coleslaw. The fried chicken lunch special is juicy and very tasty, while the sweet potato is cooked perfectly and tastes great. Diners enjoy the generous portion sizes and appreciate the fast, friendly, and efficient service. The restaurant offers both inside and outside seating, making it a convenient stop for travelers, especially those with pets. The atmosphere is nice and spacious, allowing for family conversations without too much noise. The charming koi pond outside adds to the pleasant dining experience. While the interior has a typical chain restaurant feel, the food quality and service make it a worthwhile stop. The corn bread is especially praised as amazing, and the menu could benefit from more seafood options. With fresh and crispy fries and a nice turkey burger option, Fat Jack's remains a popular choice for a good meal with friendly service and tasty dishes, especially for road trippers looking for a better option than fast food along I-95.
