“We were so excited about coming here, and it did not disappoint. The young person greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome. The quickest welcome came from the outstanding aromas. The atmosphere is clean and eye-catching, and the individuals working here are kind and caring. It is Mother's Day, and I, as a mother, was craving plantains and oxtail. If you want experience and taste, you should put this place on your list of culinary experiences. We will be back for the area, the company, and, of course, the authentic Jamaican cuisine.”

“Whoever was working night shift 5/28 god bless you, the sweetest man someone give him a raise ! Called at basically 9:20pm not knowing they close at 9:30 and he still served me and was very kind about it. Sweet man.”

The food is bbq pork (you add your bbq sauce) and fried and roasted chicken today along w hash n rice then fried okra the best sweet boiled corn on the cob along w field peas w snaps Italian flat green beans Mac n cheese collard greens potato salad an choice of pickles Cole slaw fresh bread n butter and a few other items plus soft serve ice cream southern banana pudding and peach cobbler. Pay as you come in. $14-16 for lunch and the best service assisting w carrying drinks a plates and getting refills. They also give a senior discount. And they allow guns ( just keep em put away unless a real need arises). I’d recommend for an olde southern quiet meal even if in a lunch rush. You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure.”

“I had 14 guests for lunch at Christmas time, at the Willcox. Bruce was our server and we all can’t say enough good comments about him. He is a keeper. In my 80 years he is the BEST SERVER I have ever had. Our group just laughed and loved him. Jade was super efficient in caring out my wishes for seating. I cant say enough good about Bruce or Jade. Thanks Wilcox staff for making the food delicious and the occasion so perfect. The last time I ate at the Willcox I was served a hamburger with a molded rolls.
