Everything was delicious!
I had the fried fish combo with perfectly fried okra and corn nuggets. My son had Dee's french toast, eggs, and smoked sausage. We both had this lavender lemonade that was very tasty. We both enjoyed it very much!

Just a wonderful place to eat. First time I ever went into a restaurant that someone hugged me. They made you feel like family. The service was wonderful. The food was amazing. I had the shrimp and fish. The atmosphere was amazing. The owners brought their flare of Louisiana to the decor. Will definitely be back!

I knew I was in for an experience when i walked in and was greeted with a hug! We ordered the shrimp and fish. It was amazing. We took ours home but wish we would have eaten there. It was so festive and was decorated in martigra style. Highly recommend you don’t miss out on this jewel!

Great place to get breakfast. Food is awesome. the owners even more so. I highly recommend.

Passing through from New York and we were starving after a 14hr drive running on no sleep when we came across this place. We were greeted like family and our server Bree made us feel at home. We ordered the classic breakfast, the chicken and waffles, a breakfast sandwich and 3 orders of wings. Everything tasted amazing but I'm in love with the cracked out wings. The Works is also good but go for the cracked out ones! Much love and continued success to you guys and your business. Very happy we stumbled upon this place ?

Just finished lunch at Southern Gal in the Valley/Catering. Got the basic breakfast with a smoked sausage link, Egg and Cheese Sandwich with a louisianna hot sausage patty and breakfast potatoes, five unbreaded wings with come back crack seasoning and five with the works. The breakfast potatoes and the wings are amazing. The staff are all very welcoming and attentive. And the decor is really bright and lively. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area >:3?

After coming across a Facebook post sharing an interesting article discussing the restaurant I immediately decided to have my Saturday breakfast supporting this establishment.

I loved the clean, vibrant and spacious seating provided and it was nice to see there was additional outdoor (opened & covered) porch seating available.

I had Dee’s French Toast which had phenomenal flavor, especially their special syrup.

I met both owners which were welcoming and well inviting. They were so inviting that Chef Dee even gave us a hug. The co-owner Bree served us and checked in frequently. We shared many laughs. She told us about their additional services and favorite picks on the menu. Can you believe they’ve been serving at this location for 3 years?

If you are open to suggestions, I think adding flags or something similar closer to the roadway will attract more eyes to compliment the vibrant Southern Louisiana aesthetic of such a lovely restaurant.

Parking: Spacious grass parking (well maintained) Considerate reserved parking for ADA and others.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small concrete incline at entrance to the porch and a short ramp into entryway of the building.
