Recent Reviews
Best wings, chicken ever!
Wonderful company, wonderful people, great chicken!
I heard they use chlorine to clean their chicken. The rumor must be true because I have asked several times and they will not respond. If they ignore me when I’m asking the chemicals they use for cleaning their chickens, they are not getting my group of people’s business.

Columbia Farms (House of Raeford) is a restaurant that requires careful navigation for drop-and-hook delivery. It is recommended to park in the shopping center and walk to the shipping office, located on the end of the building closest to the bridge, for paperwork. After hours or on weekends, a security guard is available to provide directions to the drop lot, which is in a potentially scratchy area and has a tight turnaround. Backing to the dock can be challenging, but the loading process is quick and organized once parked. The restaurant does not have its own yard or staging area.
Recent reviews mention that all loads coming out require a call first, as it is a first-come, first-served (FCFS) facility. Drivers are advised to check in behind the blue dumpster beside dock 1, as parking at the strip mall across the street is no longer allowed due to closed entrances. Parking on the shoulder or street in front of the chicken plant is recommended, but coming from the west is discouraged because it involves a U-turn across four lanes of traffic and a blind hill. The dock manager has been noted to interfere with drivers, which can cause delays and even result in chicken being dumped on the ground from the dock. Drivers should disconnect and park nearby, then wait for a phone call to sign paperwork and hook up to the trailer. The loading process is quick once parked, but drivers should be mindful of the challenges posed by the dock area's busy traffic and management.
