I came by just after the breakfast crush and was able to place my order to go. The staff was efficient and the owner made sure my order was correct. “I just want to offer a thank you to the gourmet shop for y'all's help today. My wife and I have eaten here for years and love it. So when it came time for our daughter's baptism this morning when we found out the Gourmet Shop offered a catering menu it became a no brainer for us. The catering options on a per head basis for 12 people were an incredible value. Our guests, many of whom do not live downtown now want to make it a point to visit the restaurant. Thank you again for making it easy for two parents of a 6 month old to throw a great party for our family.“

“This place was the best Subway ever under the prior ownership. The owner was very nice. He maybe worked too much, but he was always very accommodating and friendly.

The new owner isn't nearly as visible in the restaurant. The napkins in the dining area are often out of stock. They didn't have drink carriers when I really needed one. Also, they've been a bit skimpy on the toppings if I order ahead in the app and can't ask for more.

Honestly, despite all the complaints, it's still an above average Subway. I just miss the old owner as he created an exceptional experience.“

“We were in town for a gymnastics meet and needed a place for brunch before his competition time. We ordered a few different things and literally all of it was amazing. My youngest son said, "I'm full but it's SO GOOD I want to keep eating." The Stuffed French Toast Breakfast came with enough sides that we could all try a bite of them (eggs, chicken sausage, grits, biscuit). I've never liked grits, but these grits were amazing!! So buttery/creamy. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and wound up stealing my son's biscuit and putting the chicken on that instead of the bun - oh. my. goodness! Delicious!! We were in town for the weekend and ate at 3 different restaurants - this was the best by A MILE!!! Definitely recommend. Service was quick and friendly, as well. The owner even stopped by every table, making sure we had everything we needed.“

“I’m a frequent visitor to Columbia and enjoy trying new places as I discover them. The pho I had here was decent, and the service was satisfactory. I’ve definitely had better pho elsewhere, but overall, the experience wasn’t too bad. However, the atmosphere could have been greatly improved with better lighting and a more vibrant ambiance.“

WARNING: the parking lot is MOSTLY for Cornell Arms apartments next door. Tio's put up a VERY strange sign that could make you think the whole lot is theirs. IT IS NOT. You will be TOWED if their VERY FEW spaces are full and you try to park elsewhere in the same lot. BE SURE to read the REAL signs that say Cornell Arms Parking ONLY if you expect to find your car where you left it. Tow trucks come QUICKLY. Enjoy the good food and good luck parking.“
