I travel all across the US and enjoy little home restaurants, but I have to say my experience at True BBQ was hands down my favorite. The hash and rice was awesome, which I had never experienced before and the service along with the food was phenomenal. Mr Milton is a true genuine friend that calls you family as soon as you enter the doors.

It’s not true BBQ. I order 1/2 lb of spare ribs … over cooked and clearly parboiled prior to going on grill. Someone over cooked but served them to me . Sauce is good but not good enough to save the meat. . I have edit this review… the more I think about it I get upset at the audacity to serve me those ribs makes me think perhaps you have respect of person. I just can’t believe you would serve that to just anyone but to someone you think won’t complain.
The food is great. I stop by each time when I travel to West Columbia. Love the Ribs..

Very disappointed with service and food unfortunately. Put on hold for over 20 mins for a to go order and had to hang up and call back 20 mins later on a weekday in June when it wasn’t busy. And paid $18 for a hotdog and small serving of hash & rice. Definitely would not return even though I tend to only eat local. I’d rather take the drive for decent service.
