One of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to in the country. Had the ribs and pulled pork with baked beans and cole slaw. If you appreciate bbq, go here. Family run for generations and super friendly. Show up at 4:00 pm and take a spot in line. The line moves pretty quick. A long line means only good things from a place like this.

Great place on a senic river with plently of space for families and big parties, highly recommend the ribs and BBQ beef!

Fantastic dining experience! The staff was amazing and so kind. I love the beautiful country atmosphere by the creek. The food was incredible. For being so off the beaten path, this place is an absolute treasure! Worth the drive for sure! ❤️

Skip lunch, show up here after 4:00 pm and be ready to indulge yourself with large portions of the best BBQ in the area.😋 Save room for Excellent home made pies and cakes, don’t forget to get a bottle of Mrs. Kate’s 💕 Carolina Bbq sauce to take home. Beautiful property along the creek with a friendly family like staff. This is by far my favorite BBQ place, I’ve had everything on the menu over the last 15-20 years, very consistent and no disappointments.
My go to is the Beef brisket, wife favorites the ribs and kids love the smoke chicken, which is the best smoked bird I’ve ever ate. Get what you like, you’ll be happy and full.
Cash is king as that is all they except. Wish I could give it six stars, to give this place anything other than 5 stars would be criminal.

Great place tucked away in a valley. Great BBQ and sides, there is seating outside and a creek. Inside is lots of seating and the staff is fantastic!

My family and I stopped in here on the way out from hiking Brasstown Falls and it truly is a special little place. The portions are generous and the food is very good. The outdoor seating is in a creek and very kid and dog friendly. I wish it were closer so we could go again!

Came here looking for Silas Butt's grave and his old homestead. What a wonderful man he was along with his wife. He died in 1956 his wife in 1958. I ate at this place. Never found Silas old home but I had some lovely food here.

Near Brasstown Waterfall. The friendliest staff, best cooks and the most considerate owner of any restaurant I've been to. Take cash or check with you. Cards are not accepted.
It's off the beaten path and well worth visiting if traveling between Westminster SC and Clayton GA off Long Creek rd.

Such a neat place. I’m the middle of nowhere but so beautiful. The food is delicious!

Myself and a couple other guys stopped in for dinner on a overnight bike packing trip. The food was incredible and the staff pretty much spoiled us with their kindness and hospitality. I had the chopped pork plater and my friends the bbq chicken. Also the variety of bbq sauces were unique and tasty. Bring cash or a check as they do not accept cards.

We stopped by with our dog on our anniversary. The food was great, meat tender, portions large, and service kind. We ate outside. We ordered beef sandwich, ribs and pulled pork, and a chicken plate. I like the Carolina vinegar-based mustard sauce, so I ordered it. My husband got two other kids of sauces, but close your eyes, and they would all taste the same. Carolina should have a tangy bite to it with a sprinkling of spice. Sone people love a Memphis sweet sauce but I am not a fan of sweet sauce. I wish I could have gotten a more vinegar infused sauce. They all tasted so very sweet, like bases were all made of simple syrup. They are dog-friendly as long as they are outside and on a leash. There is plenty of space to sit comfortably outside. Parking is generous and the creek behind the restaurant was divine. Other than the sauces, I would give this restaurant 5 stars.

This place has OMG BBQ. Really good bbq. They make an in-house hot sauce that is unique and delicious!!! Very off the beaten path but worth looking for. Good luck because it's in the middle of nowhere. Google maps thinks it's a trout farm ... not. Keep driving.
