Decent Barbecue in a very scenic area. I should note that the South Carolina mustard sauce here is different from anything else I have tasted. First it is brown and is very sweet. It also has a bit of a vinegar flavor with the mustard. I am personally not a big fan of very sweet sauces, however, if that is up your alley this is the place. The Pulled pork doesn't come chopped much, so you will likely need to pull it. The pork is also had a lot of fat that wasn't fully rendered. I should also mention the portions are massive and will likely be enough for 2 meals which is great! Overall, worth a road trip for the entire experience!

A great little gem hidden in the foothills of the Upstate❤️Kid-friendliness: A great outside area with a little creek out back. They even have sand toys and toy trucks for the kids to play with.

One of the best up country BBQ places. Food and sauces are top notch. Shaded back area where you can bring your dog. The Brasstown creek runs behind the restaurant.Don't miss Brasstown falls at the end of the road before or after eating. Easy walk.CASH or Check only.
Holy portions! This bbq place knows exactly who they’re catering to: hungry hikers! All of the entrees and appetizers are huge. My husband and I did not realize this and ended up ordering more than we could eat!The pulled chicken and pork plates were yummy. We were a little disappointed in the sides, they weren’t anything to write home about. I ordered a sweet potato not knowing it was a full sweet potato that I had to prepare myself. A little off putting. But the sauces were great and everything had great flavor.Keep in mind they only accept cash!

The BBQ ribs and pulled pork was great but the sauces were lacking. There was four choices and none were traditional sauces. I definitely will go back but I will bring my own sauce.

Simply amazing! Cash or check only, no cards. No cell service (positive). This place specializes in meat and does it well. I recommend sliced brisket (fat on) and pulled pork. Be sure to get some Carolina sauce. Do yourself a favor and go!
the owner was wonderful in assisting us with our church group. Can't say enough good things about her. As always, the food was awesome. Our whole group loved it. Great place

Best BBQ I think I've ever had. Great prices for the amount of food you get. The staff was also very friendly and fast. Recommend if you're in the area.

I had reservations about reviewing and sharing information about this hidden gems great BBQ, but what the heck. I've been wanting to check this place out for over a year...I shouldn't have waited so long. Not only do you get an unbelievable amount of food for the buck (I made 3 meals out of mine) but all of it was awesome. Ribs, brisket all top notch. The chicken was spot on and in my opinion, chicken's the true test of any great BBQ place. Always the hardest to cook properly.Sides were excellent, especially the Brunswick stew.As I said, I really don't want too many more people to discover this honey-hole, but it's so far out in the boonies, there's little chance of it being overrun!Don't forget to check out the turkeys on the next property when you go.
