“I got the shrimp fajita quesadilla that was very good. My husband got the coctel campechano. It’s a cold soup with shrimp, oysters and octopus. He loved it! Our waiter, Julian, was very pleasant. We will definitely eat here again the next time we pass through.“

“The food was great, and the atmosphere pleasant! I enjoyed the Cuban torta sandwich and my wife and niece and friends had fish tacos, tongue taco salad and we also enjoyed excellent guacamole chips and white queso cheese dip. All was served hot and together for our table. This was my first visit and I feel pretty confident Mary's will continue to deliver deliciousness!“

“This place is a hidden gem in South Carolina, i would travel to eat here again. Upon entry you are greeted by a chalkboard menu and counter where you order and pay then take a seat.... We got there early, just after 11am and it was still quiet but got busier as we enjoyed our meal. This is the local Mexican go to, the place filled up with Spanish locals... a great sign. The food is authentic and excellent, one of the best I've been to in the country. Small menu, cooked to perfection. Salsa and chips so flavorful, i could not stop eating, smoky, robust and packed with deliciousness.... a sign of the goodness to come. I had Chile Poblano with cheese, which came with the traditional beans and rice. The flavors were outrageously yummy.... Hubby had Tacos Al Pastor and loved. Horchata was great compliment to the meal. We will most definitely be back. Don't miss this authentic Mexican Treasure in the foothills of our great state.“

“The food was excellent but the music was a bit loud and so we didn't stay long because we couldn't hear each other across the table.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps and handicap parking is nearby. The entrance was clear of obstacles and so would be easy to navigate.“

They have picnic tables and drinks but not alcohol.Fast friendly serviceVegetarian options: No vegetarian menu items but they handled my request well.“

“Our first meal at El Agave. We’re not that into Mexican food these days, but friends wanted to meet there for dinner. We arrived at about 5:30 so there was no crowd. The menu was pretty typical, but I found a fajita steak quesadilla that looked interesting. It was very good and just around $10. There is a very small bar, but plenty of beverages available on the menu. Very colorful interior. I’ll go back and I recommend El Agave.“

“Massive portions, about an average of $16 per person, and not sure what people are complaining about with service because Maddy was awesome to us. We asked her name because after seeing negative reviews about customer service we almost didn’t come here. WE WILL BE BACK 100% ??Kid-friendliness: I would have no problem. Bringing my kids and family here. As a matter of fact, my eight-year-old is sitting beside me right now. ??“

“I don't love Mexican food and this place is consistently good. Fresh guacamole is a favorite. Salsa bar with fresh chips is great. Margaritas are on point with a nice happy hour. Haven't had a bad meal and has a comfortable atmosphere.“
