“What an incredible find during our adventure at Kings Mountain State Park! As my wife and I explored the park, we worked up an appetite and set out in search of a good meal. That’s when we discovered Hoof & Barrel in York, South Carolina—a true hidden gem. I went all in with a mouthwatering slab of Angus beef, while my wife opted for the Cougar Classic burger. Both were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. But the experience didn’t stop at the food—Andrea, our server, went above and beyond, making us feel right at home with her outstanding service. If you’re anywhere near York, do yourself a favor and stop by Hoof & Barrel. Even if you’re not hungry, it’s worth the visit!“

“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again.
