This is a Gem of a Restaurant. The real Rural, Country, Family feel. Great seating for a family. Obviously it's a favorite for the farmers in the area. Simple straightforward menu options at value prices. Quick service. The breakfast foods, including eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and french toast were all delicious. Laurie's Cafe is a hidden gem if you're looking for an off the beaten path breakfast or lunch. The place is nothing fancy, which adds to its charm. The staff is friendly, the food is what you should expect in a small family owned Cafe. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the food is always good.

My husband and I stopped for lunch today. We ordered hamburgers, fries and onion rings. The hamburgers were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Everything was top notch. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was very personable with a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back when we are in Canton, SD.
