Buglin' Bull Restaurant and Sports Bar

The atmosphere is great and the restaurant set up is great. However the food is mediocre at best. Mashed potatoes taste like they are cheap instant, wings are mid, and sirloin steak doesn't have any flavor

They were short staffed but the service was still great. We got burgers and they were phenomenal!

Buffalo burger was well made and served but nothing more than regular burger from other places. I tried buffalo meat only few times so far, but my verdict as of right now is that buffalo meat isn’t so different than beef. IPA I had here was only bitter without any interesting taste in it, so I left half of it.

I ordered the Thai Shrimp from the dinner menu. This was the description: flour dusted & fried shrimp, coconut chili sauce, rice noodles, asian slaw. Here is what I got: coconut shrimp and naked cabbage. No sauce on the slaw and no rice noodles. Cannot recommend this to anyone!!!!!

We ordered the fish tacos, chicken burrito, beef burritos, nachos, and kids menu mac n cheese. These servings are huge and we could have split the burritos between 2 people. The food was good, our server was on top of filling our water and clearing our table. The sauces can be a bit spicy, but I asked for mine on the side.

My salad and creme Brûlée were delicious 😋 our waitress was very friendly.

It has a great rooftop bar with tables. So you can have food and drink. And enjoy the view . We had 12 people with our group, and they had no problem accommodating that upstairs on the balcony.

Great selection of food, with fast and friendly service. Pineapple salsa salmon was flavorful and well cooked, and the crème brulee made for the perfect dessert.

Great place for our lunch after a long drive.

We ate dinner at the buglin bull on 11/10 we wanted to come try something new and we saw pictures online and it’s looked quite interesting and different! We sat at the bar and the atmosphere was great lots of things to look at and a very beautiful bar. Where things start to go wrong is when we weren’t greeted for a while eventually the bartender, Tori came to greet us. Without a smile and just a plain attitude, asked what we want to drink we were taking a bit off guard so we just asked for water to start off she just left. When she comes back around She takes the food order and the drink order and just kind of awkwardly walks away. When she drops off our drinks, she never address us and at one point when we need refills she tells my husband he has to wait until she can get around to changing the keg ? to get him another beer? Her attitude was just absolutely horrible and was just extremely off putting which is really disappoint Because we really enjoyed our food and atmosphere. This is some of the best food I’ve had in South Dakota. We would definitely like to come back again we just definitely won’t be sitting at the bar!
