We had a great time and woukd recommend to others. Thank you.
We did the combination jeep ride / chuckwagon cookout. The jeep ride was terrific. Roger our driver was very personable and knowledgeable. The dinner was a disaster. They made a big deal about how everybody wanted their steak cooked. They also touted that the cook crew was the best and did this every night. When we went through the serving line twice I stated both my wife and I wanted a medium rare steak. When we got back to our seats, we had a chance to check our steaks. Both were way over cooked, dried out and tough. I went back to the serving line to complain. They didn't want to hear about my complaint and said there was nothing they could do about it. I also addressed the issue with our driver. At the cost of this meal, both the mistake in over cooking the steak and their response was unacceptable. I want a refund!
What a great way to end your night. All members of the hayride are nice and the singers are great. Getting everyone involved in singing and dancing, and yes we even made a circle of about 60 people and all did the hokey hokey. Dinner was excellent. Definitely a must do if visiting Custer State Park.
We really enjoyed this excursion. Billy was very entertaining and involved the guests. Marty was our driver and took care of everyone, even those of us with mobility issues. If you are wheelchair bound, this wouldn't work but I am dependent on a cane and he made sure to help me get on and off the wagon safely. It unexpectedly turned very cold but he even had blankets in the wagon. Food was ok but not the best cuts of steak. You aren't there for fine dining. Enjoy the experience
So much fun!!! Marty our driver on the hay wagon was great along with Brendan who had us singing along with his great choice of songs the whole ride. The after dinner group Hokie Pokey and Chicken Dance was hilarious. We all had sore throats the next day from all the laughter and Yee Haws we screamed. What a memorable experience
We actually did the Buffalo Safari to the chuck wagon dinner and it was awesome. Our guide, Rich, was great. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
This is a must if you are planning a trip to South Dakota. We brought a group of 25 and everyone had an amazing time. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. They provided fun commentary during our tour and got us right up to the wildlife. Then they hosted a wonderful dinner and entertainment at the cookout. You really feel like you were immersed into a charming and whimsical cookout. The food was fantastic too. Our group will be talking about it for a long time to come.
Jim was our guide and he explained many interesting facts during the tour. we all enjoyed very much and I recommend strongly the tour.
We had so much fun on the chuck wagon cookout. Each wagon had a guitar player who led everyone in fun, familiar songs and engaged the guests. At the meal, the singers from each wagon continued the fun engaging everyone. It was one of the best activities I have done on vacation.
Beautiful! More more enjoyable than I had anticipated... I loved it!

Good clean family fun. Staff was great and we had a good time.
This was the best. Ty our driver was great. We had a lot of laughs along the way. We did the jeep safari and chuckwagon dinner. The steak dinner was awesome. Steaks cooked to your liking with plenty of food. Highly recommend the combo. Thanks again We had a great adventure.
Wonderful! The jeep ride with Buffalo Bob was very good, saw lots of animals and had a terrific time learning more about the amazing park.
Food was delicious and the entertainment very entertaining. Highly recommend.
Went with my family of four. Jeep ride was only okay. We saw one buffalo only at the end. Driver was nice, but really only interacted with the patrons right behind him. We also couldn’t hear him, and he didn’t interact with my young boys as much as we would have wanted. Food was okay. My boys were told not to rough house (in the wide open outdoors) because there were too many older people there. I would think this would be more kid-friendly. Overall it was okay, somewhat enjoyable, but we wouldn’t do it again. Would be better and cheaper just to drive around the park by yourselves.
Very good time well worth the experience
