Absolutely delicious. Ordered take out during the first week of June; portions were great and there was good seating adjacent to the building outside.

12:30 on a Friday. No ribs available until dinner. Disappointing because ribs are my favorite food. Ordered pulled pork and baked beans. Pulled pork had zero flavor without bbq sauce. I could make better pulled pork in a crock pot. Baked beans were the consistency of refried beans, only with less flavor. Must have been left over from last month. One bite and the rest went into the trash. Bbq sauce had good flavor, but good bbq doesn't need sauce.

This place Rocks!! The owner is a very cool guy, made sure we even got a good sample amount to try before we could even ask. Keep up the good work and I wish ya the best of luck with the BBQ joint sir. Thanks for a good dinner all the way from Rockford IL.

Brisket - goodRibs - tough and undercooked Sauce - goodPrice - bit high for average BBQDidn't have half the menu available at 5 on a Friday. In reality id give 2.5 stars if it was an option.

Great food! We had the brisket, ribs and pulled pork. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend calling ahead to pre-order before they sell out. Cody was extremely helpful!!

We enjoyed this tiny restaurant enough to seek it out twice while staying in Custer State Park. The sweet sauce was great - sweet with just enough tang. We also had the brisket, pulled pork and spare ribs. Of the three, the one we liked best was the ribs - very meaty and amazing value for the price. We will come back the next time we are in S Dakota!

My wife and I were on vacation and near Custer, SD and we went into Dakota BBQ about 6 PM after a second trip through the Wilderness Trail and finally saw some Bison. So cool! This is a take-out BBQ place and they were sold out of everything except pulled pork and coleslaw. Lucky for me, I am a huge pulled pork fan. I got a medium order, a little pricey, but it was good! He gave us two fantastic rolls. I made an open faced sandwich at a nearby lake and I used the other roll for a great breakfast sandwich, my wife made the next morning.I wanted baked beans, but they were out, but I finished the medium order at our improvised picnic with a Colorado Dale's Pale Ale 16 oz can we got from the grocery store across the street.Really nice guy behind the counter, but I would have liked baked beans. My wife had some spiced pretzel sticks, which were really good though.Great smoked pulled pork!

The food here is very delicious and responsibly priced. Unfortunately they were were out of ribs but the pulled pork is very delicious and the chopped beef was good. If you're going, I'd recommend getting the baked beans and some pulled pork with the sweet BBQ sauce in a sandwich.

Zero stars. Won’t waste my time here ever again. They were supposed to open at 11 according to their website. We were from out of town, had a little time to kill before driving home, so we waited because my husband was so excited to try this bbq. At 11 we could see someone inside looking like they were preparing to open. By 11.45 other people had knocked on the door and were told “30 minutes” we left at 12.30 and they still hadn’t opened their door. I honestly can’t believe they can run a business like that. People kept trying the door, and could clearly see someone inside. Ridiculous.

Only option left was pulled pork at 530 on a Saturday. The to go boxes all leaked and had to wash everything off. Much of our pork was fat. The pork that we did eat was good. Bread was stale. Potato salad and slaw was good. Baked beans were strained (maybe because it was all in our bag?) and flavorless. I really wanted to like it based on the great reviews but was left wanting more.

Nothing to brag about. Got the brisket sandwich. $10 for a sandwich...no chips or side. Way overpriced especially since the sandwich wasn't packed with meat. Meat was a bit fatty for.my taste. Skip this place.

We had the brisket, pulled pork and St. Louis ribs. Also beans, potato salad and cole slaw. All were delicious! Takeout service was fast. Cody is very friendly and accommodating. Get there early or order early because they DO run out. We ordered at 5:15 pm and got the last of the brisket.

We grabbed some bbq and sides for dinner back at the cabin. We had enough for lunch the next day. Overall its a decent BBQ joint with fair prices.
