Honestly, this was the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while. It was amazing. The texture was perfect ! crunchy and juicy. The beans that came with it were great too. This place deserves top rating, their fried chicken beats the giant brands by a mile. Staff was incredible, and I really loved my experience here. Definitely gonna stop by again for sure.
Delightful little place in an unassuming spot. I had driven by them plenty of times but finally decided to try them out today and grabbed some food to take to my Mom's place for lunch. I waited a couple minutes for the people ahead of me to order and observed the very small team offering up kind, folksy service and serving up orders with impressive speed. My husband and I visit Custer 3 times a year and each time we’ve tried to get over to Dakota Broasted Chicken and today we finally made it. It’s the BEST chicken we’ve had in years, along with the delicious beans, slaw and potatoes. They’re closed tomorrow and we leave Monday but when we come back next year that will be our first stop!! Whatever you do, don’t pass this place up. You will be very sorry because they’re food is DELICIOUS.
