Amazing little place for breakfast w a Scandinavian infused menu for some of the items. It also serves up some favorite staples for breakfast w a high caliber take on the. It's pricey but worth it. I recommend the rice pudding to start. From there its up to you!
I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the Sashimi Deviled Eggs. They’re delicious, truly the best I’ve ever had. I could’ve eaten three orders of them and been completely happy. The potatoes in Custer’s Last Meal are well seasoned as was the hash brown, yummy! The Rice Pudding was sweet and salty, great pairing to my coffee.
We decided to drive down to Custer for breakfast at Hjem. Reservations were easy on Resty, we were greeted in a timely manner. Server was pleasant. The food was excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict, my husband had the chicken & Norwegian Waffles. The chicken had been marinaded & was very tasty! My Eggs Benedict offering was excellent with homemade hollandaise.
