Maria's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
I stopped there on my way through Custer and got a salad to go. When I got home I realized there wasn’t hardly any lettuce in the box which was really weird considering it was supposed to be a salad. For $16 that felt like a huge rip off. The flavor was good in the chipotle sauce but I won’t waste my money again.
Not Authentic Mexican Food! If you like canned refied beans, bland food, smoky room from what they are cooking from the kitchen! Please save your time and money go else were. An unwelcoming environment and service.
Two of us ate at about 8 p.m and the food was excellent! Chicken quesadilla was excellent as well as the cheese enchiladas. The chips served with salsa and refried beans were really good. Will return next time through.

Maria's Mexican Restaurant offers authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine, including the best beef tamales and great taco plates. Guests can enjoy a friendly atmosphere filled with nice colors, music, and clean restrooms. The staff is helpful and sweet, creating a great dining experience.
The restaurant is praised for its homemade corn tortillas, which are delicious and do not fall apart, and the surprisingly superb beans. Diners have tried a variety of tacos, including shrimp, steak, and al pastor, with the steak being noted as the best. The restaurant offers excellent and crispy chips along with a salsa platter that features a surprisingly good black bean-based sauce.
While the food is praised, some customers have mentioned that the service can be slow, with appetizers and drinks taking a while to arrive. The guacamole and green enchiladas received positive remarks, though some found the Relleno small. There is a hearty enchilada plate, which some diners have shared. However, it is important to note that the restaurant does not serve margaritas or any other alcohol, and some guests expressed disappointment over the lack of various salsas.
