Used to love Maria's. Got chili rellenos with uncooked cheese two weeks ago. Today got chicken enchiladas with tough chicken? Step it up.

Unfortunately their beans have lard so not for vegetarians. However the waitress suggested a veggie burrito without beans and it was good. Wish they could have vegetarian friendly options and some vegan chocies too.

Been there the last two days vacationing from Eastern Iowa. But I was born in Louisiana and raised in Texas and lastly being Hispanic myself this restaurant is the absolute best I have ever encountered. The food is top notch authentic Mexican food serve with smiles and a authentic Mexican scenery backdrop. First night we had River as our waitress and she was very friendly and informative of this great little town and takes pride in her job. Earlier I didn't get the young ladies name but she was so attentive to our needs but also allowed us to enjoy our time. I had tamales the first night and today I had the chicken quesadilla which I say is the best I've ever had . Thank you

I stopped there on my way through Custer and got a salad to go. When I got home I realized there wasn’t hardly any lettuce in the box which was really weird considering it was supposed to be a salad. For $16 that felt like a huge rip off. The flavor was good in the chipotle sauce but I won’t waste my money again.

We really enjoyed our meals at Maria's. the best part was they were able to put together an off menu plate for me which consisted of three of their absolutely delicious homemade corn tortillas filled with fresh grilled vegetables, and rice and beans and salsa. as part of the plate. They verified that there was no pork or animal products in the beans and rice and since I skipped the cheese and sour cream I had fantastic vegan tacos. My husband had the Chile Relleno plate and he said it was among the best he's ever had. On his second trip there he had the steak fajita plate and he said they also were excellent. service was great both times, this is a wonderful local Mexican restaurant. Be aware they do not serve alcohol which was not a problem for us.

Maria's truck by the VFW has better food. The waitress collided with my chair three times coming out of the kitchen. I moved myself to a two-person booth. When I came in she waved me in but did not seat me. So when my food came I had no utensils or napkins. There's no napkin dispensers at the tables. I won't be back.

The food was inedible, was told I would be receiving a refund almost 4 weeks ago still hasnt happened.

Walked in to several dirty tables. Wait staff completely confused, arguing about how and who would wait on tables. Food was outstanding. Then totally messed up payment process - so be careful !!

Beautifully decorated, excellent service, great food, reasonable prices. I came in 15 minutes before they closed and it was not a problem. I didn't feel rushed at all. I would come back without hesitation.

Not Authentic Mexican Food! If you like canned refied beans, bland food, smoky room from what they are cooking from the kitchen! Please save your time and money go else were. An unwelcoming environment and service.
