Great Mexican restaurant in Custer, South Dakota. We stopped for breakfast while out exploring the area. The restaurant appeared clean. The food was tasty and nicely plated. I enjoyed the 3 egg chorizo omelet with avocado and the jalapenos on the side. One of my companions had the French toast, the other, sausage and eggs. And coffee. Our server was attentive and kept our coffee cups full. I'm in Sputh Dakota at least once a year and can see myself eating there again.

The employees did not know what was in the food if you asked. I asked 3 times if the Chili Rellenos were crispy and was told yes every time. They came soft (which I don’t like) with hard mozzarella inside. The chips and salsa was ok. My husband had hard shell tacos and the shells were stale. Definitely not going back!

Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. As a tourist from Texas, my expectations were low. We were impressed! Tracen was a wonderful server. We had fajitas and they did not disappoint.

When they say friendly service, they mean it. The food is excellent, service was great. I'm happy we decided to stop her for dinner. The homemade guacamole was better than I make. The ground beef chimichanga was killer! If you're in Custer, eat here. Let me also add that I stopped in for a biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs to go the next morning..... AMAZING!!!!

We tried this place 3 times and each time has been worse then the last. The food has little flavor and the waitress on our last visit was horrible

No alcohol served here. No Coronas or margaritas at a Mexican restaurant???? Unbelievable... I firmly believe if they would get their liquor license it would improve their business and help them pay for their huge spaced location they operate in now. Food overall is ok but not my top choice for Mexican food in the Blackhills. It is acceptable however.

Visited after calling to verify Maria’s was pet friendly and inviting friends to join us for dinner.Turned away even after they advertised outdoor dining.. Ruined a great evening and embarrassed us. Don’t believe them if you’re making plans

Called and asked if they had a place for dogs. Was told yes, and if they were good they could come inside. So excited because we love Mexican food. And so we show up and are told absolutely not. No dogs inside. Its cold out and only one table. We are here for another month and will tell everyone I can that you are horrible liars!
