“Wonderful people, food, and vibes. I haven't been here in a while because my schedule doesn't line up with the hours but I think about it like weekly ? I miss my sausage breakfast burrito!”
“Love this place! The food was delicious and the owners are incredibly nice. It’s a husband and wife duo running the place and they put a lot of love into the food. We asked for recommendations on what to order and loved everything we got.”
“I really like the food a service. I personally work in the restaurant industry and I can say it was nice. Small thing my server check in on me which I think super big. The food came put fast and tasted good.”
“I have to give the biggest shout out to Pauly's Pizzeria & Sub Co.! Brian, the owner, took a huge part of his day to personally call me regarding a question I had emailed. He not only address my question, but researched and tested the pizza machine he built to make sure it was running correctly. He sent me pictures of his test pizzas and called me again to go over ingredients of the things I order. Sadly, some of the ingredients on my pizza are corn related (my allergy) and it's been making me sick.Brian AGAIN went out of his way to research his other products to make sure I still had something I could order without getting ill. I am beyond impressed with that level of customer service and highly encourage everyone to support this local business.”
“I had the pleasure of receiving coffee shipped from South Dakota to where I live in California, and I am loving every sip. Even when they arrived, the fragrance coming from the package was intoxicating. So far I have gotten to try Dakota (Breakfast Blend) and Papua New Guinea, and I love how smooth and delicious both of them are—I use a french press and have tried both kinds in different ways (hot/iced, black/with heavy cream). My favorite way of having Dakota is hot with a splash of heavy cream. For Papua New Guinea, I love it for a pick-me-up in the early afternoon, black and iced. I have been drooling over the Dakota blend every morning. These two are some of the smoothest coffees I have ever tried, and I am looking forward to trying others. I also have the Canyon Gold blend to try very soon (but saving opening it for later so I can further savor Dakota and Papua New Guinea). Will be buying some more Dark Canyon for my coffee-loving in-laws to try this Christmas as well. I have already shared a smidge of my Dakota coffee with my sister so she can try it (too good not to share!). Also, a shout-out to Richelle for her excellent and kind customer service and for suggesting the initial coffees I got to try! Can’t get enough of them, lol. Thank you! ☺️✨”
“I have not found a crepes restaurant that was that good since my time out in Hawaii. Muddy crepes reminded me of Hawaii and how much I missed it. 100% would recommend, and I will keep coming back.”

“I just wanted to take a moment to review Black Hills Blends as a whole. I normally order pick-up but every time I get there, it is ALWAYS ready to go and the gals are seriously the nicest people!! It makes the start of most my mornings! A smile can really go a long ways! Thank you to everyone who works there, manages, and makes that place run smoothly! BHB forever!!”
“WHAT A WONDERFUL SMALL TOWN FEEL.When you show up to a ice cream shop in the middle of March and the line is half way down the block, you know it's going to be good. When we finally arrived at the window we were welcomed with a bright smile and a hello. My wife ordered the Lauren's landslide Sunday (chocolate/vanilla twist ice-cream, chocolate dip, carmel, and coookie dough) this Sunday definitely packed the topping and flavor for only $6 the best part had to be the love and passion they put into your order.I ordered the sweet megs (chocolate ice-cream, peanut butter dip, hot fudge, and marshmallow sauce) such a wonderfully decadent treat, you won't leave without your sweet tooth satisfied. Definitely worth the wait in line, but if it's that busy it must be.”
“The beer flight holders are so stinking cool!! The beer was pretty good (I'm more a red wine guy). Knocked one star because I don't have a great reason to give it 5/5. It was a good experience and I've been back since then, and they do seem to have some pretty unique beers, but it still just doesn't feel like a full 5/5.”
“Their food is always fresh and delicious! We highly recommended the yellow curry and Thai iced tea. Large menu with a lot of options to choose from and they are very friendly! One of the best restaurants in Rapid City!”

“Amazing meal with fabulous service from a very professional & hard working Sarah. Salty Cowboy cocktail was carefully made a so tasty. Fillet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy. (Love that the menu included a map of the beef) Wedge salad was colorful, full of interesting ingredients & blue cheese dressing was fresh. Apple crisp desert with home made icecream was excellent way to finish this meal.”
“My dad and I went to this place pretty much everyday for breakfast on our short trip to South Dakota. Each day, our food was delicious and prepared very quick. Every waitress we had was very personable and attentive, frequently returning to refill our drinks. I would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area to try this great, family owned business.”
“Clean, well staffed with professionals, and consistent in their menu selections. They keep the salad bar well stocked and tidy, and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp. Top notch restaurant in Rapid with a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices for high quality food. PS - Chislic is not on the menu but they have it if you ask for it! ❤️”
“Stopped by and spoke with the owner Lori. She was so nice and really cares about local, South Dakota businesses and artisans. In addition to her own culinary treats, she also sells local honey, and small arts and crafts. The atmosphere of her shop was very cozy and nicely decorated for the holidays. All of her food is prepared fresh, on-site in the back and patrons can watch the process! Would definitely recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth in the mood for delicious caramel corn and candy.”
“The menu this week was amazing! Everything about the visit was great. Ordering was easy and we had our order within minutes with the cookies still warm. Store was clean and staff was friendly. Definitely will visit this location again.”
“This is one of my favorite restaurant in all of rapid city and the surrounding area, the food is literally fantastic and fulfilling. I love getting spring rolls and rare beef pho, it genuinely tastes as if God himself touched his little finger in each and every single bowl of pho. Please go here, service is fantastic and the food is even better.”
“Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The locals even include you and are so friendly. They will make you feel like a regular even when it’s your first time there.”
“This place has the best asada and birria street tacos I've ever had. Don't let the fact that it's in a mall scare you off. I've never had more delicious Mexican food.”
“Stumbled across this place when we were looking for new places to do homework with our kiddos and work on our own stuff. Was so pleased with our experience here and was so thrilled to learn they donate 100% of their profits back into a community charity organization. When given the choice, I am definitely spending my money here!”
“One of the best franchise restaurants out there! Extremely busy but worth the wait. Very efficient staff, food came quickly once seated. Great service by all the staff!”

“The best environment in town!! If you aren't spending at least one night a week here then you are missing out! It's a hidden gem! And at the restaurant inside, the black elk grille, they have the BIGGEST fried walleye you've ever seen plus some unique options like a German Flatbread with sauerkraut, bratwurst and horseradish that my partner just loved!! “Oh my god wow the burritos were so amazing here in the morning. Even though they are premade they are amazing and are super eggy and half of the best cheese I have had and are extremely full. They cost $5.50 which is a great price and is cheaper than some other bases that been around. they’re chili salsa is that spicy to a point of unbearable eating? I actually ended up eating every single container of chili sauce so I got for the seven days I was here on base. They have a large and clean kitchen that is directly accessible from the exchange, and exactly next to the exchange store. Super friendly people and people I see often here during lunchtime, including the military folks.I highly recommend going here and checking it out if you have CAC card.”
