Bar & Grill near Fort Pierre

“Absolutely loved this place! 😍 We rolled into town pretty late in the evening, and almost everything else was already closed, so we didn’t have many options. Luckily, we found this spot and it turned out to be an amazing choice. Even though they were close to shutting down, we were greeted so warmly and treated like valued guests. 🙌

They still offered us the full menu for a little while and even suggested a huge cold beer 🍺 — exactly what we needed after a long day. We were starving, so no time for pictures, but wow… the food was incredible! The spicy cheesesteak with tots was packed with flavor 🌶️ and the mushroom burger with mashed potatoes was just as delicious. 🍔🥔

Honestly, I wish I had taken photos, but we were too busy enjoying every bite. The staff were genuinely kind and made the whole experience even better. 💛 Huge appreciation for their hospitality — definitely an A+ experience and a place I’d happily return to! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I'm sure they do a great job all day long, but I have only been there later in the evening and it is an Oasis for a thirsty and hungry traveler. There is not much open in Pierre later into the evenings. Being able to stop in the Chuckwagon late at night and get not just a drink but some simple and tasty bar food is wonderful. Service is steady, friendly but not always fast. Hard to find folks willing to work late nights in a small city. The folks they have there are great and work really hard. I'm a very occasional out of town visitor and the times I've been there both the staff and the regulars were really warm and friendly.“
