Based on previous reviews we must have made a mistake by coming in during the off-season for the area. We visited on a Saturday night in December and we were the only people in the entire place. The staff was friendly when we ordered but that was pretty much the only time we saw them during our visit, not sure where they went or what they were doing. The beer was good, not amazing but good enough. We stayed for our shared flight and left for somewhere a little more lively.
Excellent atmosphere & Excellent taps!!!
This is an awesome place!!! Great vibe, good beer and wine, and great service!! Add this to your “to go list”!!!
Great place with nice patio. Pizza was very good and beer was great. Love the names of them! Our dog was very happy on the patio . Gotta love places that love dogs.
We make sure to stop every time we are in town! Great beer & pizza!
Incredible service. The bar tender listened to what I like and let me sample several selections to find what I would love. The beer flight my husband ordered was a big hit. He loved it!! The bar tender made one a dirty beer to surprise him and much to his surprise, he loved it. Definitely would check this out when you’re in Deadwood.
We did a Harvest Host stay here and it was perfect. Staff were outstanding! Great atmosphere, great beers, outstanding food. We will Be back!
Pizza was great cherry wine most excellent, and I tried several different beers and found that they each had their own unique flavor. Highly recommend ???
Great staff, great beers, and great atmosphere
One time stop! We had fun with the bartenders, great conversation. Would definitely stop again. See ya next year!!
P.S. power went out and still had a good time. Check it out! Nicole and Taylor were the girls to get!

I was very disappointed in my visit. I tasted 2 beers but didn't really care for either. When I asked to taste a 3rd the employee actually said to me " I can tell you're the type of person that likes to try a lot of beers so you can order a flight". Why would I want 4 of your beers when I can't even find 1 that I like. Mind you the tasters are maybe .25 oz and they reuse the cups. I'd rather not go to a brewery that wants someone to be happy with their order. There are so many other options in the area I would recommend skipping this one.
The beer is not cold, the dips are not warm….
Worst experience in South Dakota
My husband and I travel every summer with our dogs so we are always on the look out for dog friendly establishments. This brewery and winery claimed to be so but they were not only not dog friendly but they were also not human friendly. Or at last one woman in particular was the most rude human/worker I've ever met in the service industry. She didn't actually serve any of us patrons but she made the entire experience HORRIBLE. My husband and I were one of two parties in the establishment and after the experience with this woman we all left. My suggestion would be to skip this establishment and go up the hill to Prairie Berry Winery and Miner Brewery.
Service wasn’t great. The gal doing our tastings was rude to everyone. The wine tasting you pay for are less than an ounce, no description of the wine I was tasting was provided, and she did not rinse my cup between each wine. We enjoy their tasting room in Deadwood a lot more!
Great food, even better wine and the people are so friendly and informative.
