5 Best American Restaurants in Mitchell

“Love Culver’s but seriously dislike their parking lot! We visit this location 6-7x/yr, as we live 120 miles away. We ALWAYS witness issues with the drive-thru being backed up into the parking lot where dine-in customers can’t get out to leave & there’s ALWAYS confrontations, honking & frustrated people not being courteous & down right inconsiderate. I know Culver’s isn’t able to control people, however, any improvement that you can make with creating a drive-thru lane separate from the parking area would bring peace & enjoyment to those trying to enjoy their visit & food in peace! “Stopped last night after driving just under 600 miles. I was seated promptly, and my server was at the table within a few moments. I placed my drink order and chose the Garden bar and Steak Ramen bowl. I barely got a few bites of my salad before the Steak Ramen bowl arrived! That was fine. It was excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies and Ramen were delicious. It was a fantastic ending to a long day. My server was excellent, however I am terrible with names and I can't recall her name, I am sorry. I will definitely stop here again. Thank you.“

“Great food and service. I ordered a burger and when they ask for how I wanted it cooked, I’m always skeptical because they never seem to get medium rare right where ever I go. They got it perfect though. Ambience is ok, but not great and the fact that they have so many micro brews on tap is great but that isn’t included in any of their Happy Hours is a real shame.“

“ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED. I, hands down, think this is the best restaurant I've ever been to. They have a selection of a buffet OR ordering!! We came, as boy scout troop 127, and the waitress didn't SIGH once after one of them had TWO Cokes, and FOUR waters. Must have been dehydrated! The service was VERY welcoming and polite. These are probably one of the nicest people ever. We're coming up from Iowa, and South Dakota has been awesome so far. The food was delicious, the chicken tender basket is very recommended. THEY GIVE YOU FIVE TENDERS INSTEAD OF THREE LIKE MOST RESTAURANTS! Also, it is a 24/7 restaurant. How do these waitresses maintain patience after that? Anyways, awesome and 10/10 recommend.“
