“I would say this place is excellent 99 out of 100 visits ..Toni... lady that runs the place is an excellent cook she has an wonderful staff and the food is very good the only thing I think it's the prices are a little high but worth it...to be fair I need to talk about that 100 fizzit which was just the other day it was horrible wait staff was great that was no problem but everything that was cooked in the kitchen came out burned or at least way over cooked.... To be fair I guess there was a party going on and the place was swamped but obviously she was understaffed or something....I was especially bummed because I had friends with me from out of town and I had been bragging up the place.. lucky for us there was another person in there that night that knew me and my husband and apparently wanted to buy us a Christmas present so bought all of our meals and for that I thank her very much.... Kind of took the sting out of the food being so overcooked.... Hopefully my friends will come back and we can take them out there one more time to give them the real experience.... I would suggest going to this place almost any time maybe not during a party ... But any other time !!!“
“When you first walk in, the smell is not good. I suspect they don't clean the carpet very often. That said, the beer was cold, the hamburgers were fabu, and the service was appropriately attentive. It's definitely a local watering hole, with far better food than the initial impression would suggest. I was pleasantly surprised! A little pricey for small-town pub food...“
“We were recommended by someone else in town, and it did not let us down. Service was super super nice, and their homemade salad dressing was delicious. My entree was also great. I highly recommend this to anyone passing through the de smet area.“
