Bob, $7.50 for a drip black iced coffee? I’m not from here, but you are $2 higher than the national leader in Starbucks. Yikes

When we first dined here about 6 weeks ago, our waitress was less than attentive, our food took an excessive time to be prepared and brought to us, but they gave us a discount on our meal, so we chocked it up as a one off experience and agreed we'd give them another chance...and we did, last night. We came later in the evening, the seating area was empty except for one other table, but you could see where previous tables had sat, because their dishes had not been cleared. Most, if not all the tables that were clear of dishes had not been wiped, we had to ask that the table we sat at be wiped, and the girl who did so explained that they'd been Very Busy all day long and had done 4 thousand dollars in sales, which was unusual for them.....we ordered prime rib, and were glad when it arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and at that time my mother asked our waiter to check back in a few minutes, as she'd likely be needing more water - not an unreasonable request as wait staff typically checks on tables throughout their meal anyway - but he never once came back or even near our table after bringing us our food, not to see if we were enjoying our meal, if we needed anything, if we were ready for the check. As soon as we had our food, I'm fairly sure that every member of staff in the building forgot we were there, which is also the best explanation I can come up with, for why they were loudly meowing - like cats - at each other in the Kitchen. After we finished our meal, we chatted and waited for 20 minutes - I know because I checked the time when we finished our meals - for anyone to check on us. I know from friends who've dined here that all of their experiences were to order and pay at the counter, but given that we ordered at the table, and it was never communicated otherwise, we assumed that the check would be brought to our table. As we stood to go to the counter to pay for our meal, the man who has begun sweeping the space, wished us a good evening, we told him that we'd actually never gotten a check for our meal, and asked if were we supposed to go to the counter, his reply was essentially that it varied. He checked me out as I commented that our waiter had never returned to check on our table, and we'd generally felt pretty forgotten. He apologized and gave us a discount on our meal but left the register before I'd even finished checking out. I had to reach over and take my own receipt from behind the counter as he'd already walked away. The food was good, but the service was so abysmal that we will not be back, nor will I recommend this location to anyone.

Absolutely great, came her with my daughter, got the burrito 🌯, was extra large, couldn't finish it. Nice, hot and fresh. Loved it.

Brought my mum up for breakfast. Very accommodating and hospitable staff. Great portions. Food was nice, hot and fresh. Doesn't taste frozen. Everything was brilliant👏. Thank you!

Food was good, got the prime rib special, cooked to what I asked, cut was a bit tough but still flavorful. Service was a bit slow but I believe they were a bit understaffed with only one young lady working the floor.

Their pizza is soggy, ultra thin, NOT crispy, we asked for half-Hawaiian, half-supreme. They gave us all supreme and all Hawaiian (two pineapples per slice). And for TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS I definitely expected more. Was told 10-15 minutes, came in about 30

Excellent steak! It was perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and very satisfying. A fantastic touch was the horseradish sauce served with it – it complemented the meat perfectly.

Just wanted to share that we stopped here for Friday night prime rib, and it was excellent. Highly recommend for really good home cooked food in the dunes area.

Bob and Ellen's has a variety of food; coffees and pastries for breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, and pizza for lunch. The sandwiches are generous but nothing unique.
The staff are friendly and efficient. It is a nice restaurant for lunch.

I had my Wedding rehearsal Dinner at Bob and Ellen’s and it was the best experience ever!! We were staying across the street in the hotel and just walked across. The owner, manager, and staff were absolutely amazing and made the night fantastic! The food was amazing!! This restaurant will forever hold a special place in my heart for an amazing night! 💕
