“The BEST! Everything is homemade. The decor is so cute and homey. There are tables on both the east and west side of the building and lots of seating outside when weather permits. They are open year round for breakfast and lunch and into the evening in the summer.Everything (except the hot dogs :-)) is homemade and served fresh and hot! I love the Italian beef sandwiches and bread pudding, but everything is delicious. The portions are huge and the prices so reasonable. You can't ask for a more personable staff. They are just wonderful!“
“I grew up in SSC and this is a hidden gem, if you've never been it's definitely a must try. Not only are the owners incredibly friendly, the whole set up is just simply breathtaking. There's seating inside and outside, outside features a small patio area with a waterfall pond with fish! They also have an Airbnb visible from the outside seating area that is just adorable - a treehouse and hobbit house. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and I think everyone finished their drink of choice. We will definitely be back anytime we're visiting the area.“

“I had my bridal shower here. The staff was great to work with, the space for the bridal shower was the perfect size. Plus, I got to enjoy my favorite coffee while spending time with all of my loved ones. I go to Hawks at least once a week to get my coffee, and will continue to go for the coffee and the great staff.“

It is my main stop for coffee.The Caribou at America Truck Stop exit I-29 for Vermillion has become a regular coffee stop for me as well. Today Kaylie at TA Truck Stop Caribou was excellent as always!! She came to greet me at the counter with my Large Depth Charge in hand (aka The Double Grizz lol). It doesn’t get any better than this. “Tires of fast food? Dakota Perk is amazing. The soup and salad bar is great. The staff are super friendly. Prices are better than fast food. It doesn't take a long time to get sandwiches either. It has been a while since I have had their coffee drinks. I am sure they are just as good or even better than the "S" coffee places. “This was my first visit. I was hoping to find something that I could have for a meal replacement when I was having a "bad Crohn's" day. They did not disappoint. I was able to get a non-dairy protein shake with a fun flavor. It was delicious! Not chalky or gritty. “Edited to add names- I found out that the people working tonight were MADDIE and LANDEN. ❤️ I stopped at Scooter’s Downtown location this evening around 5:30. I ordered my coffee with 2 extra shots and a muffin. I was on my way back to the hospital to be with my mother. I have slept for about 3-4 hours in the last 30 hours and forgot my wallet at home. I apologized to the young lady at the window and said I didn’t have money and had to go. She offered to give me the muffin anyway because it was already warmed up and in the bag. I thanked her over and over and said how sweet that was. Being so tired and maybe a little emotional from lack of sleep and told her about my mom being in the hospital and not sleeping for so long. The 2 people working went above and beyond and gave me the coffee for free and even offered to give me some redbull to help me stay awake. I so wish I would have gotten their names because I want to give them a huge shoutout! They made my rotten few days a little brighter. Such awesome service, above and beyond.“
“I cannot recommend the Coffee King enough. We love Coffee in our house and it is pretty much our only real vice. We still keep a container of foldgers (incase we don't want to grind coffee) but 9 out of 10 pots is fresh coffee from here. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is just the right amount of checking on you without being annoying. Their selection is awesome and they keep some things in the warehouse so you can ask if they have it and they probably do. We have a nice selection of syrups and causes @ home and it just keeps growing. The pricing here is awesome and very comparable to online. If there is a slight difference I take comfort from the service and knowing that they are employing siouxlanders. We have not had a coffee that we haven't liked, from here. We do prefer some over others but half of the fun is trying new roasts. If you haven't been here, but want to have better coffee @ home, then give Coffee King a try.“

“I was a little scared when I ordered a quad Americano and the barista asked "what's that mean"? The coffee was ok, but definitely not the draw. The doughnuts were, as the kids these days say, "feugo". No frills. No silly shapes, no bacon or captain crunch. Just a round doughnut with maple, glaze, or chocolate. Sprinkles, nuts, or plain are available. Just a little crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. They definitely do donuts right.“
“I ordered here for a large party and when I requested to pay separately for every person, the cashier was very helpful. She wasn't annoyed at all and was very nice. So customer service was great! The service was also very quick since everyone's food was ready in about 15 minutes. I got the chicken avocado bacon panini. This was a decent sandwich, which also came with mayo, tomatoes, and lettuce. The chicken was a tad dry but overall, it was tasty and healthy. They also have soup of the day so make sure to ask them what their specials are. And they have a great selection of coffees/smoothies which are very yummy so be sure to check out the menu! The environment inside was very relaxed and seemed like a quiet place to get some work done, or to even meet up with friends!“
